It does not, but if you go to the Rhino site, you buy a a tray for it there. Look for the "Large Tray"

Is it sturdy enough to sit on?

Yes. Its extremely strong. Three people can sit on this at the same time with no problem. It will literally withstand many hundreds of pounds on it.

How do you put a standard size lock on?

The magnetic trunk lock has a loop for attaching a padlock. it is recommend a Master Lock Padlock, Set Your Own WORD Combination Lock, 2-1/2 in. Wide, Black, 1534DBLK

Can this be used for shipping?

No it cannot. Although it is a very strong trunk, it is not designed to take the abuse from shipping companies. We recommend our Indestructo Travel Trunk for shipping if that is your desired purpose.
