Great watercolours
Beautiful watercolours. Colours are stunning muted colours. Ideal for illustration work

Great colours and dry matt with texture opportunities. Annoying container.
Fantastic, dry matt and can achieve texture by partially removing with tissue. I think these are one of the better paints by this brand. I'm going to try loads of wet on wet and bleeding colours together. The container is not as good as the other pallets, it has a clear plastic cover and the colours are on the outer side edge of base box. Not the easiest to put back or remove or as eco friendly as the the other cardboard boxes. Over all though, these are beautiful paints. The yellow is more moss green colou, found that a bit disappointing.

Great for creativity
These are really fascinating watercolour paints as they separate into differing colours. The unpredictability of them is wonderful. They are great for backgrounds and expressive work.

Excellent coverage and colours
Wonderful watercolours with a tint of graphite. I particularly like the green which gives a very useful olive green without mixing. Excellent coverage

These are the most beautiful paints!
These are the most beautiful paints! The only word to describe them is stunning - they feel amazing on the brush and lay down so well. They work well with regular watercolours too and I'm so happy with them. The only thing to bear in mind is that they are not in a case. They come in a cardboard tray and for storage you have to use the plastic retail carton they ship in. It's a real shame because it makes them a bit inconvenient for the way I use them, but that's the only negative about this set - the paints are so good that I can't even dock a star for it. If you're on the fence, just treat yourself!

Quality paints!
Mixed media projects always have room for a variety paint effects/ finishes. These graphite paints by Kuretake are perfect for grungy, smudgy backgrounds for Steampunk. Good variety of colours. You can even use them on stencils, once the texture paste has dried. Really pleased to have them in my resource kit.

Thoroughly addictive
I fell in love with the graphite and granulating paints immediately. They are so versatile and lend themselves to any colorway and genre. Exceptional quality, large pan size for large or small brushes (as do all Kuretaki paints) very affordable. I cannot find fault whether professional, hobby or student artist they will take pride of place in your gallery.

My favorite watercolor!
I heard about these paints on YouTube. I bought the 48 set and was hooked! The colors are brilliant like gauche but perform like watercolors! This graphite set has great neutral colors that complement their other paints. Don't expect them to look like watercolor, although with enough water they do. The colors are almost opaque with a little water. I like the versatility of these, but if you want "delicate" looking paints these aren't for you. I love the striking colors! This graphite set is more neutral, but still striking!

Piacevolmente sorpresa.
