I wanted to love them
These had some good reviews I honestly think it's just the luck of the draw if you get ones that work as intended or the duds as you can guess by my rating I got the dud batch,really wish companies took pride in their quality control I would of bought more. My boys love them at least and they last about 1-2 hours unfortunately probably won't work at all next year.

Nice lights! (unless it rains)
This is my 3rd year in a row using these candy canes. I originally gave this product 5 stars (based on previous years performance). The lights took 3 nights to come on this year. I still like them.

Cute and easy set up
Love these lights. They look great lining the driveway and the solar lasts well into the middle of the night. I used steady on rather than flashing but both looked great. The tip of the stakes will bend if the ground in too solid and your force it.... which will make it not penitrate the ground well. (Use a screw driver to make the hole first if necessary). I only had this happen to 2 out of 32 stakes but they still all worked great.

If you don't have a lot of sunshine don't bother getting these.
I don't know how they can sell these since they will be used in winter very few places have enough sunshine to have them stay lit for very long. Where I live I get direct sunshine on the solar panel in the morning for a good 4-5 hours if it's a sunny day. Even then these candy canes only stay lit for about 3 hours. Being winter most days are overcast at least for part of the morning. So unless you live in Florida or someplace where you get a lot of sunshine every day don't waste your money on these. I will never by any solar christmas decorations again.

Not too sure...
Appears to be cheaply made. One of the stars fell off when I took them out of the box and when I put them back in, a nob fell off. I was able to put the candy cane back together but noticed that the wiring may be a little off. Couldn't get them to light up outside the box but they lit up when putting them into the box. So, I am hoping they work when I get them displayed.Updated 12/11/2021 -- so I ended up loving these decorations and looked forward to putting them out every year. This year, the lights quit working so now I have boring candy canes.
