Item is attractive, accurate, durable and silent. Color is not brown, as indicated, but gold with brown highlights. Would have preferred a darker bronze brown. I do, however, appreciate the vintage, classic look very much. Still have not figured out how to properly hang this clock with the hook provided. Instructions would have been helpful. Let's hope it doesn't crash down from the wall!Update: Was able to successfully darken the color with an expresso-brown stain. Application was quick and easy with a crafting, disposable sponge brush. Took several hours to dry though. Afterwards, sanded away some of the stain to allow gold highlights to shine through. Happy with the aged results.

This clock is an excellent buy, and looks nice upon the kitchen wall where I put it when the other one up there had died. Goes well with color on the wall and perfectly quiet, accurate clock. Very happy with purchase!

Love the stlye, and it makes no sound at all, it is a continuous second hand which is a really cool feature! I'm loving it!

For my living room. I really like the Roman numeral style, but the typeface most companies use is so gaudy, or the face decor is worse... It literally takes years to find a good clock that also matches me. My ears still work, so I'm really happy with the resurgence of the silent clocks.The typeface is crisp and clean, all the marks on the face (and the pattern) are as clean as you can see in the picture. Has kept time so far, with a half-used battery.My only complaint is that they don't make a 13-15" version. This would look so good at that size!

It is bright white and shiny. It will do for now. It does not make a noise of ticking so I do like that. The shiny is not my favorite, but I do like it.

I ordered this model previously, love the antique design. But, it perpetually stopped running. Replaced the proper AA batteries around every 2 months. Something was either bad with the new Duracell batteries or the clock was faulty. So, I ordered another clock, same model. What arrived was disappointing parts were protruding from the packaging. Poorly assembled!! Would not work at all!!!

Just what I wanted. Matched my paneled wall, easy to install battery and is super quiet. Keeps good time. Very pleased with this purchase.

The clock is super lightweight and inexpensively made, but it looks sophisticated enough as long as you don't touch it. I got the "brown" clock, that looks like it should be a nice maple wood color in the listing. But the finish, I can describe as bonzy golden- see pic. The mounting bracket is weird. But as far as I can tell, you simply hammer it into the wall and then hang the clock on the hook. There's no instructions and it is such a strange piece it looks like it was thrown in accidentally, it doesn't come in a plastic bag or anything - see pics. We shall see how well it keeps time, I will update if it fails to do so properly.
