It's great to have the safety mirror in place again after the previous (larger) one was caught by the wind & broke. It seems sturdy and is easy to see oncoming traffic. We can once again see around the corner to enter the street where traffic often speeds.

I installed the mirror upside down fastened to the top rail of the fence opposite my front door. That way I can see if a package was delivered by looking out of the window that is above my door at the mirror that reflects the view of my front door and any package deposited there. So I no longer have to open the door to see if a package has been delivered. The mirror seems sturdy and is easy to mount with the enclosed hardware in the package.

If you install it as pictured in the vertical position you are alright but if you need to mount it sideways or horizontal then you have to take the back apart and rotate it in order to get full range of adjustment.

I had to replace a mirror in a parking garage that was hit by a truck and needed to do it quick so I checked Amazon and read reviews of at least 20 of these round outdoor mirrors before settling on this one. I actually ordered a similar one from another seller first but they sent the totally wrong mirror, which wasted a few days). The hardware is solid; mounting bracket is steel, heavy gauge... it actually came with lock washers, regular washers and steel nuts (most places leave out the lock washers), the swivel arm is steel and tight (unlike most that change direction in a mild wind) and the mirror / back side are quality. Totally happy with it... it worked perfectly.

Item was purchased to monitor a basement exit area that was difficult to monitor from 35 feet. Installed mirror and can see if anyone is hiding or congregating in that area. It also withstood a 65 mph wind storm.

Great for driveway access to street. Another dimension of safety exiting to street.

Usw it as a backup mirrow. The size is too small. Get a bigger one

Put it on a pole at the beginning of the street to try to see cars better. For its size it does well.
