Its a nice, heavy key chain. The little clip broke off within a few days, but I never used it. I just took the little ring it was attached to off and still have the big ring and the Carolina charm. DON'T USE THE CLIP. I could see someone losing their keys with that thing. They should just remove it altogether or upgrade it.The charm seems like it'll stay. It's well made and the chain its on seems pretty good. I don't expect the design to fade either. Seems the design is engraved into the metal, painted, then clear coated. I was actually surprised by the weight and quality of it. I just had a few bucks leftover on a prepaid card so bought it on a whim and am very pleased and impressed. The clip is a toy. I'd recommend you take it off and throw it away when you get it, or don't buy it if you intend on using it. I just wanted the ring and the charm anyway. If you want a clip I'd recommend a carabiner.

The hook handle fell apart after 2 days, I still have the gamecock on my keychain, but it didn't last long enough for what I initially bought it for.
