So my gaming chair's base cracked and it slide the piston all the way to the floor. I needed a placement, for just the base and piston. It is exactly how it is described in product's link: metal spoke base, rubber wheels. The wheels were a nice touch. Easy to assemble, with the hardest being getting the pieces from the old chair removed from the broken base. The whole process outside removing the parts, was probably a whole ten minutes. It rolls smoothly across the hardwood floor, the piston actually works now, I have greater height and I am overall pleased with the product. If you have a few simple tools in the house, this base assembly makes a great replacement for those chairs who's base and piston have seen better days.

Added this base to the EMIAH Armless Desk Chair and it's PERFECT. Super easy to build.

This chair base was fairly easy to assemble. Only one of the spokes was a little tight to put together but after wiggling a little bit, it went together great (the rest fit very close but no struggle to push together). I love how the smooth wheels glide and the height adjustment is perfect. The hardest part was removing the existing cylinder base from my desk chair, but after some struggle, I got through that part too. For reference, I’m average (at best) for my ability to build things - this was not a difficult product to put together at all. Very satisfied so far (just received it this morning).

My favorite office chair's base broke. Instead of getting a new chair (I love my chair), I decided to investigate a new base. So far, so good.It comes packaged really nicely and is easy to put together. You have to put the legs on, it's not one piece, but they fit together snugly with two screws to hold them in place. You probably don't need the screws, they fit so tightly (but obviously use them). Sturdy metal construction.The wheels are rollerblade type and roll smoothly. Almost too smoothly. LOL. This is great for my laminate flooring and I can get rid of my crappy floor protector now.The height adjustment is great. I'm 6'2" and most chairs kind of 'max' for me, meaning their highest is just right for me. I put this all the way up and my feet were off the floor. That hasn't happened to me since grade school. A nice feature for all of us tall guys.
