I was hoping for more detail

this book does not even mention useful things like Text Edit. Perhaps 1/4 the length of "the Missing Manual "books. But seems clear with nice color illustrations so OK if you are just starting with a new Mac

I bought a new Mac-probably not such a good idea at the age of 69. This little volume is thorough in explaining the Mac. Easy to understand.

This is a book for beginners, not comprehensive.

I invested in the same series for upgraded iPhone, iPad and Monterey - and will continue to use them as I slowly become used to the various devices and programs.

As an older person who just upgraded I need all the help I can get to understand how this latest operating system works. It is written in easy language and the illustrations are helpful.

Really easy to follow and informative, laid out really well with step by step instructions and lots of tips along the way, great book!
