Il Salone Milano Plex Rebuilder Permanent Hair Color Cream - 10.1 Extra Light Ash Blonde Professional Hair Dye Kit for a Natural Gloss & Glaze - Paraffin, Paraben, and Alcohol Free

I was a bit apprehensive about trying a different brand of haircolor, I finally got my courage up and tried the Il Salone Milano Plex Rebuilder Permanent Hair Color Cream - 10.1 Extra Light Ash Blonde today. I am impressed and believe that I have found my new "Go To" haircolor. I will see how long the color lasts and go from there. I used this color on my semi dry, previously blonde colored and bleached hair. My hair was several shades of blonde, brass, and yellow. I know, I was taking a chance, but this color is amazing. It was easy to use, (the directions are a bit small:)) and there was plenty of product to well saturate all of my hair which is below my shoulders, in one kit. The smell was not overwhelming and the product did not feel hot on my head. My results were fantastic! The color is a very light platinumy blond with a twinge of ever so subtle silvery gray highlights. The most amazing thing is that after drying (with a blow dryer) and styling my freshly colored hair, there were only about 6 strands of hair in my brush, no damage at all from this hair color. My hair is bouncy, soft and shiny. I love it and hope it lasts for awhile. I used about 1/3 of the lovely smelling conditioner packet today as well. There is an additional packet of upkeep conditioner to use in 3 weeks according to the directions. I will most likely try it a little sooner.

The picture is the hair dye i used before i used this one. This one makes my hair have no red tones. My complaint is that I wish would last longer then four weeks. No other complaints.I'm pretty sure it's 30 devolopr. MAKE sure your leaving it on the right amount of time. And use step 3 a week before you need to dye it again.

I used Iced Platinum. The box showed it could make reddish hair turn white with silver highlights. My roots were just lightened, but they were reddish because my original color was dark blonde from another plex lightener that had the blonde tones too yellow. So I tried this, hoping to make it more white. I put it on my roots first. After an hour, there was no color change. They were slightly more grey-toned but still red, with no lightening. It toned the rest silver, not white. It makes a good silver toner, but it does not lighten. Back to bleaching first.I wanted to use regular dye, thinking it would be less damaging, but my bleach peroxide is better than dying it several times, trying to get the color I wanted. I use this peroxide called Yuthika Professional 40 Vol Hair Dye Developer,with a blue bleach powder, and it turned my hair white its works great. Just didn't want to keep using the bleach, but it made my hair soft, so I will go back to that. The plex conditioner was nice in this box dye, but sadly, the color did not show; very misleading. It was pretty gentle on my scalp, but still no good for dye.

6.8.22~ Personally, 'Il Salone' is one of my fave At Home colors.Been using it since before the package matched the color & you had to hope it worked.But it always did. Whether greys or color refresh & this 'Plex' version is just as good.This is why it gets 4 Stars.The directions are awful.The cream is thick. Like trying to shake putty out of an eyedropper.*Directions~There are No Pictures. There are 27 languages but no pix that speak every language.Then the directions are in teeny tiny print but makes no sense.Let me explain.You receive, Including the gloves on the directions~1~ Bottle with Developer2~ Packet with the #23~ Packet with the #34~ The color tube.Directions state (which I was only able to read zooming on a pic I took on my phone)"...add entire contents of colorant cream into the bottle (2-3)"To me, who has at home colored for a thousand years, sounded like add packet 2&3.Since the colorant was a tube & ever only added one packet of protectant was perplexed.So I read directions through. I know, sounds like the obvious thing but,when you at home color a lot, there's rarely anything new to a touch-up. Until now.**The Catch~Packet #2 is the after care conditioner.Packet #3 is a mask to use 3 weeks later to refresh.So instead of a tube with 2 uses, 'Il Salone' gives 2 packets.***Final ResultSince there was no protectant & was using Level 8 Blonde I didn't want to bleed into ends,Added my own leave-in to ends pre color. My hair, including colored roots was silky soft.Color is Gorgeous. 8.0 Light Blonde finishes like Warm Ash. Perfect Neutral.Shines like cocoa butter on tan skin at the beach.Even deposited color back to my bleached-out roots from a previous color fail.This is The Happiest I've been with my color in a long time.Although next time will apply this with a brush & bowl.My shoulder still hurts from all the emphatic shaking. The stuff is thick.But my hair looks good. Better than my last Salon Color. Whew, finally.

This lightened my hair color beautifully, left it on much better condition than before hand. It is not a color stripper. Previously I had stripped my hair down to platinum blond, then used baby blue permanent hair dye. My hair grows fast. After 2 months natural color was growing back in. This dye did not remove all of the blue, just most of it. My natural hair color is a mix of salt & pepper - some of it dark, some white around my face. This dyed my hair ( apart from the blue) a pretty light ash blond color. Really lovely color, even, very shiny - strong & silky feeling. Unfortunately I am going to have to redye it a slightly darker color to cover the blue - do not want to strip it again. May try reverse streaking it with a medium ash blond. This feels like the best hair dye that I have ever used. Comes with a special packet to use after dyeing, plus another for after washing. Was not 100% good for me due to my special situation. Hair treatment from this company is about $22 per tube. More than I like to spend, but it may be worth it. My hair texture is the best it has felt in years. It strengthens hair and reduces breakage by 80% as well as making it soft as silk and full of body.
