Cosmedica Skincare Set- Vitamin C Super Serum and Pure Hyaluronic Acid

I have highly sensitive skin, as a natural redhead, and I am highly skeptical of products that come so inexpensive, but I thought, what the heck, let's try this. I have juvederm fillers but none around my eyes, and my eyes are the area I am most concerned about. The HA serum seems to help plump me up. I love the texture ad it absorbs into my skin. The vitamin C is a but sticky but I don't mind it because I also place a moisturizer over the products. I trade off using these products and a retinol evety other night because I don't want to dry out my skin. I think the most important part is that this should be paired with a moisturizer if you have sensitive skin. I also like to use this before bed so that my face is relaxed while the product does its work...maybe that's hokey but I think there's something to it.

Wonderful product for skin hydration and brightening. I am a physician, I have been recommended to use hyaluronic acid and vitamin C by my derm colleagues. This product works for its purpose at a fraction of the cost of other skin care products. I truly believe in this company and hope for its success.

I have used (and loved) Cosmedica hyaluronic acid for a few years now and I have had no issues with the HA in this two piece set. It seems to be the same HA I’ve purchased on other venues and I will continue to use it, especially for relief from the dry winter facial skin that plagues me now that I’m older. Followed up with a decent moisturizer, Cosmedica HA makes a real difference in skin softness, and prevents flakiness and the dry, itchy red patches I can get on the outside corners of my eyes during winter. But I have to say I am not in love with either the vitamin C serum OR the bottle it comes in. The serum is thicker and stickier than other vitamin C serums I’ve tried, and seems to take several more minutes to absorb into my skin. It feels tacky for several minutes after I apply it. On top of that, the pump bottle spits out way more than I need to just smooth a few drops onto my face and neck meaning I’ll go through this bottle considerably faster than I normally do a one ounce bottle of vitamin C serum. I think much of this problem is actually caused by the thick and sticky nature of the serum itself—it builds up in the pump as you’re trying to expel it and just squirts a bunch more out than necessary. Because I don’t care for the serum itself nor the pump bottle it comes in, I won’t be purchasing Cosmedica vitamin C serum again. I will however continue to purchase the hyaluronic acid because—it works!

I’ve been using this products for months. It’s a great affordable option. I used to spend a lot of money on big brand products but this is just as good for a fraction of the price

The combination of these two facial products works wonders on my skin. I have combination skin.

I needed a refill of the hylauronic acid serum (which I love so much) & decided to get this duo instead so I could try the vitamin c serum. The smell is not great! But putting that on first after cleansing my face, and then putting the hylaluronic acid serum on after l, followed by a moisturizer... the smell disappeared so that's a plus! I've only used the vitamin c serum twice so, so far so good. Obviously need a longer trial to see results! Highly recommend Cosmedica products!

This is the second time I have purchased these items from Cosmedica. If you have mature and/or dry skin, this is something you should definitely try. I read in magazines that skin care experts recommend Vitamin C as an antioxidant, to produce collagen, fill in fine line and wrinkles and reduce dark spots. Hylauronic Acid also produces collagen, retains moisture, plumps skin up and diminishes wrinkles. I decided to try these products from Cosmedica because of the good reviews and the reasonable cost. The serums come in small dark-colored bottles, which is preferred to protect the product and make it last longer. The products really do work. My skin is very dry, and it becomes softer and smoother with these products. I first purchased them individually, but when I went to purchase them again, they came as a set, which is perfect. They absorb quickly and you can use one right after the other. I use them every morning. The serums are not greasy and you can layer your daily moisturizer and SPF on top. Highly recommend. They are effective without the fancy department store prices.

Three stars because I love the hyaluronic acid so much. I couldn't wait to try the vitamin c serum for my acne scars, but so far, it's been disappointing. It leaked in the box. I wish it had the same dropper as the hyaluonic acid. The pump squirts the serum all over my hands making it more difficult to control and apply to my face. It smells pretty bad-- definitely have to wash my hands immediately after putting it on. It's sticky. My face feels tacky and I don't like how it feels under my makeup. I don't think I'll be buying this vitamin c serum again...
