Is it possible to get hooked on thermometers?
These little thermometers are amazing. The app … is still in development, perhaps, there are some rough corners, but there’s been an upgrade this year, and now you can see temperature, relative humidity, absolute humidity, dew point, and something called vapor-pressure deficit on screen (on the app; the unit itself still only shows temp and RH). I’ve got temperature and humidity records going back over a year on the device I bought .. well, over a year ago, and these little things are so handy that I bought the two-pack to add extra rooms to my data. The units take up very little space, but are easily readable from ten feet away (assuming you have a light source; there is no backlight, so you need to be able to *see* the screen, but a backlight would be troublesome 99% of the time, so it makes sense that there isn’t one), and the battery on the one I bought over a year ago is still at about half charge. And that’s the battery it came with. For the cost, these are the best room thermometers I’ve ever owned. Also of note, this system is entirely modular: you can add as many devices and rooms as you wish, labeling and grouping them all however you want, and while these units on their own can’t do it, the company sells a hub device that you can pair with Alexa so your system can tell you temperatures (and presumably other data) when you ask. I’ve not invested in this, so I can’t tell you how well it integrates, or how easy it is to set up, or anything other than that it exists. But perhaps another reviewer can provide that information.I love these little thermometers. The data gremlin in me wishes I needed more, just so it could enjoy more data and more graphs. The app… is a little rough sometimes, but most of my difficulties, I think, stem from having *so much data* on my older unit, that it slows things down sometimes. But only for that device: the other two are little speed demons. I could wish for more customization: you can swap C or F, metric or imperial units for other things, toggle the secondary humidity graphs visible or not. I’d like to be able to reorder the graphs, change the colors maybe, little things. But everything works very well, I’ve never had a problem with the bluetooth connection, even from a few rooms away, the units themselves have done everything I could have ever wanted them to. I am 100% happy with these.

Functional, Easy Setup, Excellent Connectivity!
Bought the two pack to start, with the intent of pairing the Switchbot temp sensor to our Lutron controlled fans in all of our rooms. Started with the Kitchen and Family Room, Kitchen is at the front of house with full South exposure, Family Room is at the back of house in a more shaded area. As the photos show there is a 5 degree temperature difference (68 - Kitchen, 63 Family Room, as shown in the photos).I rated accuracy 4 stars for 1 reason only. I am paranoid about accurate readings, so upon initial sensor setup, I followed the manufactures calibration steps and procedure. Once I completed the procedure, the displayed temperature was 1 degree off (used 32degrees as benchmark), like I said i'm a bit paranoid. Now in all fairness they say the accuracy is +/- .4 to .7 degrees, and both sensors were off by 1 degree, I'm sure these sensors are calibrated at the factory, but I just wanted to check for myself and see what they were actually set at.Using Switchbot products to setup automations in the native app works flawlessly, and should be the main goal. However when using multiple manufacturers for the automations, in my case Switchbot temp sensors and Lutron fan control switches, the automations still work well, however this can only be accomplished by using "If This Then That" (IFTTT), and should be considered a temporary automation, as the manufactures listed are not guaranteed to remain as a part f the IFTTT orbit. The whole Alexa thing is confusing because only voice commands for temperature work, humidity levels are not yet supported. In addition Alexa routines cannot be used because most manufacturers devices are not listed or available when creating routines. Hopefully IFTTT remains a viable, well recognized solution. The future as of now is a little unsettled as well, with the introduction of the MATTER standard, which is suppose to resolve many of the connectivity and linking/enabling issues that are currently encountered. Sounds like one of those baby steps plans, with more clarity and definition coming later this year and moving forward. Until then I'm continuing with my smart home design and implementation using reputable devices/components. Switchbot being one of them and at the top of my list!!

temp gauge
These work great in my lizards cage and help me to monitor his temps when I am not home

Look and work great
This thermometer/hygrometer looks great, well made, easy to read, and very accurate out of the box.I love the clean look and simplistic display of just temperature and humidity without all the clutter of min/max on the display. If you want that, you can get it in the app.I gave 4 starts because I wasn't too wild over the app. It could be a little easier to use but I had no issues in getting the app installed and the device connected. And the app does work. I don't have the hub mini so maybe that makes the app a little easier to navigate.

Be warned it's sensitive.
The quality of these thermostats are very sensitive. But a peace of cake to set up unlike most smart devices. There is no back light so you can't see it when lights are off in a room but if you have it hooked up to smart home (Google or Alexa) you can ask them to tell you. So I inishially got these so that I could control my new heat pumps with smart control through Google. Though it can hook up to Google or can not automate in google with this device. This is not a huge issue and let me explain... You can just use there in app automations and to be honest it's more detailed then Google. You can still hook it up to Google after automating it in the app but you can't start automations off your voice as far as I know... At least though Google.

What an affordable solution to monitor my 3D printer enclosure
This thing can measure any metric under the sun - temperature, humidity, dew point, etc... it can also integrate with SmartThings and Google Home. It's amazing how inexpensive this is with a built in hygrometer and a display. I can see the temp/humidity via the enclosure window or I can just monitor it on my phone. Amazing device!
