The media could not be loaded. I ordered these poles for my daughters play area which need more lights. They were easy to install and are great quality. The support brackets definitely needs to be installed. I tried without them but they lean after any wind. Just pounded the poles in a few more inches and added the supports and now they are super strong. I would definitely buy these again if i every need more.

Good product overall except the decorative double looped light holder broke almost instantly so I used the single, stronger curved one. It would not hold light with me pressing the stakes into the ground with my feet. So I unscrewed the pole down to the stake, used a mallet to pound the main stake in, then slide the supporting stakes on and pounded them in. This made the foundation very strong and solid. Then I screwed on the remaining pole pieces. I would recommend this method if you buy.

For my daughter’s recent wedding, we reimagined our backyard patio. Part of the design was to include lights for nighttime use. We really needed some sturdy poles to hold the lights. We reviewed all of the lights that Amazon offered and felt that these fit our needs. When they were delivered, we noticed how heavy the boxes were and thought that they would be heavy duty. Assembly was very easy and installation was a breeze. Needless to say, the results are fantastic!! We are very pleased with the results and look forward to years of use ahead. We wholeheartedly recommend these string light poles!!!

I was looking for an alternative way to add patio lights around our paver patio without having to do major digging or having to remove pavers to anchor poles in the ground. I came across these and thought that I would give them a chance. I first placed them in the grass around the patio but I didn't like the way it looked because of how far apart they had to be. I then decided to get whiskey barrels and placed them in the barrels and filled them with topsoil and added flowers to the barrels. I couldn't be happier with the outcome and they have withstood several strong storms and strong winds. I would highly recommend these for anyone looking for an alternative to add patio lights.

The height, look, assembly and installation are all very good. We found that the assembled pole lacked enough strength to hold standard outdoor lights. The poles leaned under the weight of the lights. This is very innovative but not the right product for our lights.
