Alright, let me say that if you're looking for a harness, please stop and go no further. This product is awesome!I bought this harness solely because I wanted the green colour, but also bought "In Training" and will be purchasing "Do Not Pet" patches to replace the "Emotional Support" patches that it came with originally because those aren't applicable to our situation.I have a 70 pound Rhodesian Ridgeback/Lab mix who is easily excitable around people but also somewhat dog selective when she is on a leash, or when other dogs are on a leash. She is extremely strong, and since we adopted her from the shelter we have tried many different methods to try and control her pulling. We started with a regular leash, then tried a shorter slip-lead for more control, and then moved on to a halti head collar, which we have been using for over a year. It has been the most effective, but still hasn't been exactly what we've wanted. It doesn't seem comfortable for her (which is suppose to be the point I guess) but it's causing her to listen less because at times she becomes so distracted with trying to rub it off. In addition, when we go out in public (to Petsmart for example) people either act fearful of her by confusing a halti with a muzzle, or try to pet her constantly and render our control over her useless even with the halti. This is extremely annoying because we do not know a lot of people in our current city, let alone that have dogs, so we take her everywhere we can to try and train her to behave with less excitement in large crowds, and to maintain calm around other leashed dogs. I decided I wanted to try and maybe upgrade to a harness to see if there would be a difference, or if the reaction from the public would be different, and it definitely is! I was originally looking at basic harness that would match her collar, until these vests popped up as recommended.First off, it fits like a glove. We bought the XL size and her measurements were 31 inches. The material is so thick yet padded and seems much more comfortable for her. It is also super reflective! All the velcro aspects, are surprisingly sturdy and I don't worry about them ripping off or coming un-done.A lot of reviews said that their dog acted completely different even just with the harness on, and I have to agree. Almost like she knows she is in training mode and has to focus. We tried to training and recall inside and when she started to pull away, even a slight pull back on the harness made her back up instantly and then sit down right by my side. Usually she would be flaying everywnere and still attempting to pull. That in itself is a big improvement. When we go out for walks or to the pet store, one tug back and she knows we expect her to either slow down or sit right beside us. Even when other dogs have been barking or trying to get in her face, we can maintain better control with the handle. She is so smart and is so trainable but when she sees other people she gets so excited and happy that her manners fly out the window. It's been hard to improve her training on that when she is constantly being egged on or distracted in public. My hopes are that adults will keep their kids away so she is not distracted from us in public, and that strangers don't automatically assume they can get in her space to pet her. She is fine when playing with most other dogs off leash, but seems to feel intimidated or threatened when she is on a leash, or another dog is on a leash. This is also something we are working on, and this harness will allow other people to keep their dogs at a distance, and will be more understanding to know from the harness that she is learning rather than assuming she's vicious with her halti ("muzzle") on and making snide comments. She is not a fearful, shy or skittish dog by any means - which I know a lot of people who reviewed this and similar items have stated over her reviews, but this harness will really help with her learning curve. I feel 100 percent more comfortable with this harness and I think she does too!

Dad is still in good enough health that he's able to travel - so ...
My elderly father is a 100% disabled veteran (WWII & The Korean Conflict). He's 92, hearing impaired and become a widower after 65 years of marriage 3 years ago. We've been lucky enough to find him a lovely emotional support dog 2 years ago. Sweetest 27 lb doggie ever & while I think Dad thinks he's taking care of her....she's actually taking care of him. Dad is still in good enough health that he's able to travel - so we want to take him as many places as possible while we can. We have taken trips without our girl, but he always "wishes" she was with him. So...we have gone through the process with the airline and my father's physician to get approval to take her on a flight with him. Based upon recommendations I read, her wearing one of these will help let folks know that she's actually doing her job by being with my father. She hasn't worn it "in action" yet, but so far it fits well. Hugs her nicely and doesn't seem to bother her. Well made and sturdy.

Not as sturdy or durable as Advertised
First time I actually take the time to review an item for Amazon, and unfortunately I'm going to look into getting my money back for this product.I ordered this for my 48lb ridgeback mix who I adopted a week ago to personally train as my own ESA animal for my PTSD. She is NOT a strong or overwhelmingly large dog, nor high in energy - she walks perfectly well on a leash (leash slacked and right next to you), but will occasionally tug (not lunge) when she gets excited and wants to greet someone on the street.I ordered this specifically to assist me in training my dog to stop tugging and going to greet strangers on walks - because it advertises "made with the most durable material available" and it also included a top mount harness which is great for when you need to control and effectively remove your animal - but within 5 days of use, the top mount harness' stitching ripped in the middle of me pulling back my dog from another person's dog on one of our walks, having me lose my grip and control over my dog, which could have ended in an unpleasant confrontation, if I hadn't scooped her up and carried her away (because the other person'a dog was NOT friendly).Again, this incident was NOT from her becoming out of control and full-force lunging towards someone - this product ripped from mild resistance from a 48lb dog with medium energy. Please be very cautious and thorough when buying your Animal's ESA gear - especially for those who are being trained for everyday day work use.

Great for a growing puppy!
Just ordered this vest for my 8 month old puppy. I got the medium since his chest is 26 inches and I know he's going to grow. Used Prime and got it within 2 days!I have anxiety and depression and he is my reason to keep going. I got him 5 months back when I was in a rough spot. He has completely turned my world upside down- in a good way. He is my hero and I had been planning on getting a dog as an ESA before I ever even adopted him- he turned out to be the perfect fit and I couldn't think of a more professional product to represent my boy.

priceless
I got this for my 25Ib westy when my service dog came and she got envious of Olivia's BIG vest by this company that says service dog in training. So when it arrived my westy was SO happy going on her hind legs all excited. It's a good product if you get a lot of questions from neighbors such as "I thought no dogs are allowed" well if the vest says emotional support on the dog you take out no one hassles. I know I can't take an emotional support animal into a store or office but it is good around apartments where pet dogs are prohibited and you have been alotted and ESA. Casey was 14 and this vest helped make her retirement special. May she rest in piece this company's vest made her feel so happy and blessed her with happier days as she felt she had a special role (and she did).

Top quality great fit and our dogs look awesome in them as well.
Highly recommended. Great fit, plenty of length in the girth for any growth. Love the strength of the stitching and colour. Our 4 dogs are 50 kilos each and big, powerful dogs. If they feel like pulling you, they will but these harnesses make quick work of stopping that behavior. Lol! Ours dont really pull much but if they do, they soon stop. Just great, solid, strong, well stitch and definitely not cheap and nasty looking. We would recommend them to everyone who wants a quality, strong, just a brilliant product all round.
