Super Fun.
Great Art Supply for creating unique prints. One of the first projects I did was plant clippings. This would be great for families with creative kids.

Works beautifully for making prints
Did exactly what I needed, cleaned up easily, and arrived in perfect condition. If you are interested in making gel prints, start here. The brand isn't the most popular in craft stores, but I think the quality may be superior. Looking forward to getting another size.

These are fun!
Jumped down the rabbit hole when I purchased the two Gelli plates! Who would have guessed these would turn out to be this much fun. I have my almost two year old granddaughter hooked as well. She stated that she likes the Gelli plate painting more than watercolor painting.

Gelli Plate Printing
I have never used a manufactured Gel Press, and I'm impressed with the clean images they create. Great quality! Highly recommend. I am used to a really quick clean up with my homemade ones, this plate held onto the leftover remnants of paint, that 5 or 6 print runs could not get rid of. Then washing in soap and water didn't work either.

Kinda Cool!
I've just started working with gel press pads and, they are kinda cool! The stuff you can do is pretty amazing! The pad arrived in good shape and as promised. Mine doesn't seem to have any flaws, as some other reviewers have had. I hope to have lots of fun as I learn the art! I will be purchasing another, in a different size.

Great price 👍
Great price for an amazing product!!! This is the best size for use with 8-1/2" paper. This was a no-flaw transaction.

Having fun with this!
Enjoying the creative process with this. It does take practice to get good prints but even the failures are fun! I took Tania Ahmed's "Gel Print Academy" on Facebook and learned sooooo much. Highly recommend her course if you want to learn this medium.

I LOVE this product!
Gel plates!! I can say enough good about them. This brand is fantastic and they are less than the brand name but every bit the same quality! I have the 5x7's (2) the circular ones (2) an 8x10 and now this one. This is being used for my textiles...this form of mono-printing is my all time favourite. Great brand too.

Addicted. In love. Where's this been all my life?
I recently learned about monoprinting and since I enjoy mixed media, decided to give these Gel plates a try. Same as Ranger but less costly. AND. I. AM. OBSESSED! I AM IN LOVE. I DON'T KNOW WHY OR HOW I LIVED WITHOUT IT LOL!😂. I could write a book on all the cool things I've done with these plates and all the things I still can't wait to try. Add in various kinds of alcohol markers, stamps & ink pads, even watercolor. Mix Chameleon micca powders with Liquitex Gel Medium to create your own custom, color shifting, metallic paints. I keep the more interesting prints to frame, place in my art portfolio, in binders or in scrapbooking. Or I cut or rip prints up to create collages, art etc. I have both the 8x10 & 5x7 plates, remove from clamshell, lay them on a sheet of plexiglass (10$ for 2 pieces on Amazon, stops me from staining my art desk) and start brayering on Liquitex acrylic paint. Better results than several Monte Mart sets and various craft paint acrylics (def recommend using some Liquitex mediums to change the thickness, thinner, texture or even glue down your collage pieces). I recently started using my Piñata Alcohol Inks, was worried about staining my new, pretty, crystal clear plate. So far no stains!! (They do however cloud up over time but this doesn’t affect the quality of the print). Tried this awesome method- brayer on a small to medium pump of gel alcohol hand sanitizer onto plate, drop your alcohol inks on-top. The gel gives it something to grab onto, creates some structure. Lightly brayer inks to mix or slightly move colors around, place a stencil if you like. Spray with isopropyl alcohol in a mister for more ink movement. When satisfied with your 'design' or image, puff air with alcohol ink blower until it starts to dry. Leave it be, takes about 2-5 mins to dry down. Then either lightly brayer white acrylic paint over top and pull a copy( It works well. You'll just end up with a white background instead of the plain alcohol ink). Or use my preferred method with 'Ranger Ink Tim Holtz Alcohol Lift-Ink' (get the bottle, NOT the pad version. Bottle size is same as the Piñata & Tim Holtz ink bottles. Is available on Amazon for about 15$). This product doesn't require the white paint to pull up the alcohol ink. Place a few drops along one edge & brayer gently across plate, hand sanitizer, ink &/ or isopropyl spray or drip. But don't over brayer it, will get muddy instead of blended or styled. Smooth a clean piece of paper and pull the entire image off (I use various papers including Strathmore sketch paper pad, 7$ for 100. High weight cardstock, 22$, box of 100. Cheap colored tissue paper, butcher paper, rice paper, acid free archival tissue paper, 12x12 Color Blok pads, book pages, tracing paper, marker paper. Even the pages I roll off various excess paint from my brayers can turn out stunners. Lots of experimenting! So stunning & gorgeous, the prints are amazing. You can do a similar project with similar results using the liquid Liquitex acrylic inks. They are slightly thicker so no base needed. My Gel plates remain unstained as well. Yay! I can't say enough good things about this brand. Treat your plates well & they can last a looong time. Baby wipes remove wet & dry paint from plate as does hand sanitizer & good old Dawn liquid soap & water. Occasionally give it a wipe of baby or mineral oil as the that's partly what it's made of & will increase longevity. And be careful not to mark up or damage the plate surface as these marks with show up in your art. Cheers!
