Installed in my motorhome almost covers the hole in wall but it does carbon and gas othe old one just detected carbon would recommend it looks good

I am rating it a 3 star because there is no lip on the product when placing in the hole. I had to build one so it did not just fall through the hole.

Old one went bad, continually beeping. Replaced with this until and back up and camping.

Nothing more dangerous than something you can't see that can kill you - so having this in my motorhome was a must as it should be for anyone that uses propane or has a risk of exposure from carbon gas poisoning.The motorhome I have is pretty old and the unit within just as old. I've read they should be replaced every 5 years. Made sense to replace the one that was over 20 years old.I already have a CO detector but the added feature of CO detection just adds an additional layer of protection, which I like.To install I just pulled the screws from my old one and cut the wires leaving enough slack for the new unit, which I attached with wire nuts and then screwed the new unit where the old one was. This unit was slightly more narrow, but fit just fine.It's well constructed, easy to install and so far has worked reliably.

It was a direct replacement for what came in my RV. it said replace after five years and the original went out in exactly 5 years. Having said all that, It was good to be dual protected all the time we were sleeping in the unit. Good product and prompt shipment from the company.

used this product on my fun finder camper trailer. Had to ad additional wall board to make it fit because the openning was too large. but it was no problem to do. Works as advertised. Great ready for safe camping.
