A disappointment. While there is a prettier range of colours they simply don't dry as well as other Floursack products (i.e. Wal-Mart product is the absolute best).

These towels are far more absorbant than most you buy. If "flour sackl" isn't part of their title on the label then chances are they might not be as absorbant, unless they are the thick-two ply ones.Double ply tea towels are very rarely found. You need a good absorbant hand towel to dry your hands or a dish and these flour sack towels do both quite nicely. They dry quicker as well and not like the others I've had that take hours on end to dry after every use.I'm very happy with these tea towels and would recommend them most definitely! Love the colors too!

These flour sack towels arrive in a pretty little package tied with fabric ribbon (as shown in listing) and protected with plastic. The colours are rich and beautiful, fabric is somewhat rustic but that is to be expected. There is a twill tape hanging loop in one corner Be aware the colours do bleed, especially the orange. So wash separately at least the first few times. If you're fussy about wrinkles, you may want to iron these. They are 100% cotton, made in India. They would make a nice gift for someone.

I love these flour sack tea towels: the colors are vibrant and they hold up well after many washes. They lose their shape a bit after a while, but it's not too bad. The fabric gets thinner over time, until holes appear everywhere ... and they need to be replaced.

These towels were so attractive, for dish towels that is, but not functional for my needs. Even after washing, they were useless for wiping good knives after washing. They were NOT absorbent at all. I use two different dish towels at a time on a regular basis, one heavy and one lightweight. These towels will be good only for my pasta making when absorption is not a requirement. Cheap linen towels are more useful for me than these.
