*** Absolutely buy the quick disconnect hose attachment setup. The stock hose is junk. I converted the hose to connect to 1/4" on my compressor which you may also want to do. You will need to sort out your connection setup. I used a brass 1/4" female to male connector (refer to pictures). One end of the better, braided hose comes as 1/4" female thread, while the other is 1/8" female (this end is where that quick disconnect goes that attaches to the airbrush)*** This airbrush is very helpful and functions with ease. I use it for ceramics, with the Medium attachments and have great success. I had doubts that the materials couldn't push through the nozzle but they worked out great. I did notice a tiny bit of blockage between switching objects when spraying slip, but what you can do is hold your index finger over the tip and hit the trigger to back fire the material into the container to clear the blockage. You have to find the balance between the right amount of water to dry material. Start out thicker until you can find the correct density with your slip or glaze. I ordered a fine nozzle set to use with oxides and thinner materials. You're going to want to clean after each use, whether that's with water or special cleaner depending on what you are spraying.
