For caliper mount I ended up with another adaptor for a smaller size so I never used this in an install.

Says what it does, does what it says. If you have tektro brakes and 180 tektro rotors and your frame or fork is IS mount, then this is the adaptor you should use.

Like the headline says I bought the mount new, it connects to an I.S. (International Standard/51mm) mount and raises the height that the rotor mount sits on.For a rear I.S. mount it makes your bike accept 180mm rotors and for the front mount(if you have them) a 203mm rotor.

Seemed to work well, although a "this end up" arrow would have been helpful. I ended up returning mine because the upgrade didn't work out on my bike, but that was no fault of this product.

I can't find any faults with it. It just works. It's hard to say if it added extra power since it's for my rear brake, and rear brakes do much less braking than the front. I'm sure it'll be much more noticeable when I fully load the panniers on the rear rack.
