These are perfect for when you want to annotate books without actually writing on the page like I do. Completely transparent and have a sort of paper-like texture but are still slightly smooth. Pencils and some type of pens work fine on it but make sure ink has fully dried before you put it in the book.

I got the one with the 2 different sizes in it. Is really great to add notes to a text if you don't want to write directly on the pages of the book. Is completely see through and strong. Great adhesion too. I would not get the regular paper kind again. These, for me have been ideal

These are good. They look slightly cloudy but once on paper they are very transparent. They are easy to write on but they have a shiny feel so depending on your pen you may need to let the ink dry otherwise they could smudge. Pencil is fine, biro works well, gel pens need to dry, I found CD pens worked perfectly straight away with little drying time.

When I first bought these transparent sticky notes, I expected them to be more like tracing paper with a bit of glue at the back, but these have a more filmy, glossy exterior, which I presumed would make writing on them difficult. I’d say it’s like writing on plastic paper, quite hard to accomplish with ballpoint pen but an easier feat for more pigmented sketch pens, markers etc. I typically use gel pens (0.38 - Muji or 0.4mm - Pilot HiTec C) and sometimes they write well, sometimes they skip. I don’t have to convince anyone about how annoying it is to go back and write again over the skipped bits. In all honesty, I can't complain too much as they do work for its intended purpose for copying diagrams easier, so as long as you use markers or pencils for this, it should be fine.

Transparent sticky notes are a neat idea — you can jot things down without hiding the text or image underneath. The pack I got had a good amount, and the transparency is clear enough that you can still read through them easily. The downside? They don’t stick quite as well as regular Post-its, especially on textured paper, and writing on them takes a sec to dry (otherwise smudge city). Also, if you use gel pens, the ink can bead up a bit. Still, for annotating books without marking them, or layering notes on documents, they’re pretty handy… just not stickky perfection.

Really useful product! I like to annotate my books and add notes or translations with language learning. This is a great way of doing so without ruining the book. The larger size is useful for more extensive passages and notes. I imagine these would be useful for tracing as well. I took off one star as you can’t write on these with all types of pens - gel pens in particular don’t seem to write well on these sticky notes as they’re a bit too smooth and shiny. The coating also can scratch off but that shouldn’t be a problem if they’re taken care of.

Love these for textbooks and studying. Wish there was more in the packet!
