I bought this for a phone without a headphone jack, and it works great! It works with my regular earbuds, it connects well and simply, the sound is clear, and its small so it doesn't take up much room.

Not a fan of Google's decision to lose the audio headphone jack - but this audio adapter is performing very well and is the perfect solution! You can set the volume to soft or loud and no noticeable distortion - audio comes through crystal-clear. At this low price, if you need another adapter for a different headphone, just buy another adapter! (I also notice that the company makes an adapter with two headphone jacks if that is what you need.) LATER UPDATE: I had to buy a version that includes a second jack for charging your phone and listening at the same time. That left this adapter unused. BUT I DID DISCOVER A NON-CELL PHONE USE FOR IT! My MSI gaming laptop consistently dropped sound out of the headphone jack EVERYTIME I TURNED IT ON! I would have to unplug my headphone and plug it back in just to get sound out of the headphone jack. But then I wondered if this adapter would work on my laptop??? I only had one USB-C jack on the laptop, currently in use with an external video display. But I did have a Fasgear USB-A to USB-C adapter (also purchase here on Amazon). I plugged it all up and now have better sound than ever coming from my laptop. And I get sound from the headphones without having to constantly unplug and plug them back in! Glorious!!!

Exactly what I needed. Skip button on earbuds works perfectly too. Just wish I could stop misplacing it! Have not noticed any extra noise or static. Great audio quality.

Ugreen always has great products and this is just another one. I can use my 3.5mm cable to listen and connect to my laptop and phone easily, no fidelity loss. Recommended.

Way over priced for such a simple product and there was no mic capabilities with my purchase even though it's advertised as having a mic.

I was really fearing the loss of an RCA jack on my new cell phone. After all I have five or six sets of wired earbuds with microphones that I was very happy with. So had I known about the existence of this little gadget, I could have saved myself the cost of purchasing wireless earbuds; the annoying need to charge their batteries; and the pain of the inevitable loss of their little parts! This adapter gadget needs no batteries or charging, keeps close to the side of the cell phone so it puts little pressure on the cell phone's port; and works beautifully on calls and music! No complaints here. I can get a get a good set of Betron earbuds for about twenty bucks, instead of spending seventy or a lot more for the wireless variety...

I’ve been buying Ugreen adapters for my iPhones for the last several years. I’ve always been happy with their quality and durability under moderate to daily use conditions. While I really like the solid, cordless, L-shaped design of this adapter, there is one pretty big design flaw. The design does not take into account using the adapter with more heavy duty phone cases like the Otterbox Defender series cases. Specifically, the side with the USBC connector is not long enough for the connector to slot securely into the phone when my Otterbox Defender series case is on the phone, which is always. I’ll probably keep this around to maybe gift to somebody who doesn’t use such a heavy duty case with their phone, but I will need to find something that works better with my phone/case combination. A slight redesign to make the side of the adapter where the USBC connector is located longer would make this a perfect fit for my needs and a great buy for the price.

I first got this because UGREEN is a very reputable brand that makes good quality products, and I needed a USB C converter to use a 3.5mm with my phone. I was surprised at how good the DAC is on it is and it also provides decent amplification for it's small size. I later started using it with my PC rather than the onboard audio and WOW, the amplification was much more noticeable. If you are on a budget and need a simple DAC amp this is a very BIG recommendation. Otherwise look elsewhere for companies like Fiio.
