Schlage Single Cylinder Front Door Deadbolt, Satin Nickel

Our 10 year old Schlage dead bolt weirdly stuck closed after major rain and wind. I took it out to lubricate and dropped it. The key cylinder popped and a bunch of tiniest springs and rods fell all over and l could not find all of them. I decided to “spring” for new lock. The locksmith wanted $150. to come out next week. It took less than 24 hours to arrive and 5 minutes to install. I am very satisfied!

Easy to install. Love the look. Matches my door handle with code feature perfectly. Schlage does not disappoint. Color is gorgeous

This deadbolt checks all the boxes—solid construction, precise fit, and dependable performance. The installation was straightforward, and the components lined up perfectly with standard door prep. Once installed, the bolt engages smoothly with no sticking or play, which tells you the tolerances are on point. The key action is clean and consistent, and the overall build feels durable and secure. From a practical standpoint, it gives real confidence day-to-day. Schlage nailed the balance between quality engineering and everyday reliability.

Beware of Amazon. Product is great but Amazon sent a used part and sold as new. Customer service offered 20% back.

Easy to use, easy to install, easy to rekey. Looks sharp. Uses spool top pins in most of the pin stacks for extra pick resistance and a hardened steel plate over the bible to make it harder to drill. It's definitely still pickable and probably drillable, but these are simple ways that make it at least a little bit harder to compromise the lock. Comes with a thick strike plate and long screws.

Schlage must be the top dog in locks - I consider them #1. I upgraded to these keyed deadbolts on a new home purchase. Many deadbolts have a knob on the interior side - but if someone breaks into your house say through a window they can then just go to your door and move the deadbolt allowing others access and potentially your items to depart! Keyed on both sides - nobody opens that door without a key. Know where a key is in case of fire, etc.. but I think it's worth it to go keyed on both sides. Love these units - installed on two doors.

Great lock mechanism, very tough and high quality, my Brass one looks great, Keys work easy and always, easy install. I feel much safer with this Deadbolt on my front door than any of the lower cost ones, and you can tell in everything that comes with it its just tougher and higher quality than other deadbolts. If you want a regular keyed deadbolt, get this.

Schlage dead bolt is one of the Best in the industry.

Great build quality. Can't go wrong.

Las cerraduras llegaron en tiempo, de hecho, en menos tiempo de lo esperado, y estan nuevas y en perfectas condiciones.

Good locks. I fitted it myself.

Received a single cylinder deadbolt rather than double as described which is disappointing. Maybe update the title on the item… Description The SCHLAGE Double Cylinder Deadbolt in Matte Black adds an extra layer of security to your interior or exterior knob/lever.
