I bought this based on all of the 5 star reviews, and having liked Colt Ford's albums I thought this would be similar.Unfortunately, for me it sounds like primarily a rap album with a tinge of country in it. What I like about Cold Ford is he brings in top notch country singers to supplement the rapping, so both genres are well fused together.But this Lac album leans more heavily toward rap, and neither the rapping or occasional background singing are that good. The rap sounds mumbled, and the country singing is more what I'd expect to here from a karaoke party rather than a professional country singer.The album does have a couple songs I like, such as Island Time and 4 Wheel Drive, but overall the album feels flat. It is definitely listenable, but a little on the mediocre to average side to me.

I'm 50 & female. I've never been a rap or hip hop fan, but I'm completely blown away at the mix of music this band puts together in a song........and it works. Country, rock, rap, & hip hop all in one song, there is some special talent in that mix to make it good. It helps that even though there's an age gap these boy's are singing about my life so I can relate to the words while trying not to break a hip to the music. Many thanks to the band and the kids at my favorite mud holes for sharing this great music they won't play on radio stations.

Gifted, but last as long as a CD is expected.

this is another awesome album from a sweet group of old school new country rappers. good music for us rednecks and hillbillies. utah shiner forever. american fork needs to remember you grew up around us. not the other way around. this was country farms first. all they are is commies. leave us alone

Excellent music! Highly recommend.

Almost every song on the album was awesome. There were a few that just didn't hit the target for me, BUT the rest of the songs made up for it.The bass hits hard and the beats are catchy. Overall, if you are a country boy, or girl, redneck, love big trucks and muddin', you will love this rap/country/redneck music.The LACS are boss!
