In Natural Living Style , Selina Lake reveals how to create a simple, beautiful, and stylish home that is as natural, plastic-free, and sustainable as possible. “ Our favorite stylist is back—we can't stop drooling over Selina Lake's new book... ” Mollie Makes In Inspirations, Selina starts by revealing the concepts that inspire her: natural decor, living simply, mindful consumption, recycling, upcycling, and reducing plastic waste. She looks at materials suited to the natural living look, including wood, bamboo, cork, recycled glass, and upcycled materials. In Textures, she focuses on organic fabrics, fibers such as coir and rattan, and eco-friendly paint. Finally, she shows how to style the home using lighting, decorative objects, vintage pieces, garden flowers, and house plants. In the second section, Natural Living Spaces, Selina shows how sustainability and style can go hand in hand in living rooms, kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms, home offices, and even utility rooms. In The Natural Garden, she steps outside to discuss green gardening, growing your own produce, and venturing further afield to camp, travel, and explore. Throughout, eco-friendly tips and hints will inspire those who want to lighten their footprint on the planet. Last but not least, the Natural Resources section will help readers get the look and create a sustainable, eco-friendly home of their own. Review: Libro muy recomendable - Un libro precioso y con muchas ideas. Muy recomendable! Review: Sadly Very Cliche - It is quite a boring read. Unfortunately I got nothing new or inspiring from reading this book … very cliche & magazine style read.

So inspiring I bought it twice!
Having sent this book as a gift, I decided I wanted it for myself. Even that gorgeous waft of "new book" hit me on opening. The matt front photo', without a needless dustcover. The author is on the same parallel as me all the way through the book. Nothing jarred, everything to my taste. Inspiring, verifying, brilliant interior/exterior design book. Innovative and comprehensive layout. I have a last minute peek in the pages before I go to sleep, ensuring sweet sleep in these troubled times! Pick it up, it lifts me up at any time.

So much in this book!
This is a really interesting book. So many of the photographs show simple and really pretty stylish decorating! There are hints and ideas for re-inventing our homes to help save the planet. This book keeps drawing me back to it, to look and see if I can make any of my home better and me not so wasteful. When I look around, I see so much plastic, I really never thought much about it until I bought this book. Don't get me wrong, Selina Lake has just inspired me to try harder, and if you buy a copy, I bet you feel the same!!
