You have to get it with a key fob. I already had the fob I wanted to program as well. Just program an extra one. One important note: This programmer only works for 4 programming sessions. So a business like a locksmith cant expect to buy one and use it forever. However, for personal use, this is more than enough. Just do it right the first time.

i have no clue the only advice i can give is pay a locksmith to program your key fobs, dont waist your money on this, it does not work or at least it did not work for my 2012 gmc acadia now i am out basically 62.00 since it did not work and the kicker is that it did not even work on the key fob that came with it!!!
