Me and my husband are able to read and execute complicated, legal paperwork but we were NOT able to assemble this bike to save our lives. I paid an additional $100 to have it “fixed” at our local bike shop after putting it together, but backwards in some places. :)) Factor in the extra money if you don’t have tons of experience assembling bikes! Overall excellent quality bike and very happy with it after the initial setup we paid for along with our blood sweat and tears.

So, despite all the nightmares I've read about instruction and sturdiness, my bikeologist easily put this together without even glancing at the instructions! We found them hiding in the box later ^_^ Not only that but he pointed out two things: 1) the bike was extremely well packed and the travel axels serve this purpose; 2) a little grease goes a long way to make piecing things together smooth. He also stated that everything fit together/lined up perfectly and he didn't have to force it at all. I watched to be sure and he really did seem to be enjoying himself. Still, while I have experience putting together several children's bikes, I'm glad I chose a pro since I didn't at first with my e-bike and that made me cry while struggling with it.Aside from assembly, the bike is beautiful, sturdy and just the right size for me! I'm really glad I made this purchase!The assembly through Amazon is overpriced and has poor customer service though so I'd suggest finding a shop or mobile specialist in town.

I had the most horrible experience with this company! Bike shops not willing to assemble these tricycles for multiple reasons:They take a very long time to assemble which can cost more than the actual tricycleParts are not standard and hard to find to replace.Unsafe and tend to tip over during turns because of a high center of gravity.When I tried to return them I was stone walled by the company! They would not provide a prepaid return label. They just tried to convince me to keep their bad product.When I contacted Amazon they were no help. Sent me a generic response referring me to their policy about third party vendors. Unfortunate that these tricycles will end up in a landfill.

The trike assembly was challenging b/c there were no instructions...only pictures. The you-tube videos were not that helpful. Had issue with defective R-wheel. Customer service was excellent! Now have functioning trike!

Love this bike! My 25 year old daughter with Down loves it! High quality bike. Paid someone to assemble. I installed a handle on the back basket so we can control the speed by hand. Love this bike !

Assembly requires MIT degree and hours. Assembly manual thick and illustrated. However, did not cover complicated steps like installing chain on shifting gear's. Had to look at another bike to figure out. Yet stupidly simple steps would have two pages in the book. In one important step the illustration in the book wad totally blank. Fair amount of Google translate nonsense also to be found in book.

It arrived when I was away from home, but my husband assembled it & waiting for me when I got back. I Love It!! Now, I feel more stable to ride a bicycle again!! The color was the same as depicted in the picture.

Was super excited to try this bike, but has been a nightmare to put together. First I was not sent all the parts (nuts/bolts) etc. they did right and sent me the parts, but putting this bike together has been horrible! The instructions are backwards and missing steps! Have resulted to searching YouTube for videos! My friend putting the bike together for me puts machines together for a living and is sitting here cussing this bike! Would def not purchase again and would have sent back if I wasn’t to have to pay shipping and handling
