SKB Compact Stand Case 36-1/2 x 11-7/8 x 8-1/4 with Wheels & Straps, TSA Latches, Over molded Handle

I was looking for a hard case to store my tripods during travel. This case can hold two tripods with heads. The case was well made to protect my equipment. I will try it next time for a birding trip.

Been looking for over a year for suit case to transport lighing and back drop on air travels and avoid oversize. This do this. Well. I had tweek my ligthing stands and cross bar between sets. Good for one summer of gigs! First the handle broke off, then the hinges. Doesn't hold a full kit of hardware.

This is my second case of this kind. My first one lasted about 20 yrs. These are slightly upgraded with nice, bigger handles and latches. The straps on the inside are my only complaint. I'm contacting them tomorrow about it. The straps are unusually long, so long that they won't tighten securely around my hardware that I put in. The other thing is although there are now three separate straps unlike my first case which had two (two was fine) they top and bottom straps are too close to the tops and bottoms so some of the shorter stands won't catch on to the security of the straps when tightened down. Hopefully, I can work this out, I've heard SKB has excellent customer service, I hope this is the "case" Ha!

I use this for video production, able to fit two tripods, few light stands, and more into this. I'm constantly sitting on it to get it shut and the latches are fine. Traveled airlines too as checked bags and have had no issues.. Also only weighs 12lbs which is great for flying.

I bought my first one in 1992. That one lasted until January 2014 when one of the latches broke. The new one has better/ stronger latches and am excited for the next 20+ years of use. I am a working drummer that tours and highly recommend this product!

As advertised. Bit expensive but did the job.

I fit my Manfrotto 546 kit into this, 2 compact light stands, and a monopod. The hinges always looked like they were going to give way but I've had it since 2011 and it was going strong still. I am only buying another because someone stole mine. I like how tall it is inside, the rest of the SKB cases just aren't tall enough -- and the other ones are far too long, adding to travel bulk.

SKB are quality cases, this is no exception. Robust and well appointed internally with quality straps for holding gear tightly bound.The latches are also robust and exude confidence for roadworthiness.Highly recommended for road protection.

Holds a lot of gear. I currently have five light stands (3x9', 2x8', 2x1.5'), two monopods, I CF tripod with ball head, two shoot through umbrellas, two umbrella style softboxes, extension bar for mounting flashes, a half dozen flash brackets, and a couple rolls of gaffers tape. Still room to put in a few flashes if I need to. Everything ties down securely with the internal straps. I've checked this for air travel and it suffered no ill effects.
