Smells good. But that’s about it. The product is like hard wax. Difficult to get out of the container. Then you need to warm it up in your hands and rub them together to get it to emulsify enough to put in your hair. This is almost impossible to do and your left with bits of it in your hair and it looks like you have dandruff. I sent it back and got a refund

This product is much more like a pomade than a clay. Instead of a firm hold it had a greasy softening effect on my hair. Smells nice but i would not buy again

This is more like a wax than a clay, and it's impossible to wash out of your hair. I typically love this brand but this product is awful.

Tried this product because my edges were thinning from other gels and waxes that I used to hold my edges down. Almost every other gel or wax has chemicals in them that are listed as harmful and cause hair loss over time. This soft rock clay has mone of chemicals in it so I bought it. I love this product! I have to dig the product out with my fingernails because it's kind of hard until you get it on your fingertips. Then I put it on my edges and it does an amazing job keeping hair in place while still adding moisture and good ingredients to keep my hair healthy. It smells mild and nice. I have tried so many products and this one is a winner. Love love love. By the way, it works best on wet hair. Tried on dry hair to lay it down and no. Wet hair and this clay are perfect. I hope they dont discontinue it. Clearly the other reviewers dont know how to apply it or are using on dry hair instead of wet to set it. I only use on my edges but that is a tricky area so fir this to do the job without harmful chemicals, I am thrilled. No my edges can grow in healthier while I keep them in place. Whats not to love? Oh the first two ingredients are castor oil!

This is my favorite hair styling product.I've used several Billy Jealousy hair products as well as Uppercut Lightweight, Byrd, Layrite, and some other normal grocery store brands as well. Billy Jealousy's Headlock is a close runners-up for me, but this has that extra bit of hold that my style needs. After all that for my short undercut with length on top haircut this is the best.It does feel like it's made of wax and doesn't look like clay. Eh, whatever. It works. I just take the nail of my thumb and dig a small portion out. Rub it between my hands to friction heat it, and comb through with my fingers. Great stuff.I'm not really sure what the other person was talking about when they said it couldn't wash out. Washes out fine for me.

Recieved a sample of this. It is very greasy. Nothing like other clay's I have used. Even leaves your hands greasy.
