ABSOLUTE TRASH!
DO NOT BUY THIS TRASH! Listen to the other reviews. Even if you can deal with the fact that the saw flies off the arbor every time you stop, the arbor itself is way too short to center itself in the drill. The result is hole saw that jumps and destroys everything around the drilling area. What was supposed to be a simple speaker install in my boat now requires a replacement of an entire ruined panel!

Worked fine on hard old barn wood
OK, so I have only made two holes with this but then that is all I needed. Making a dashboard for a TR6. I have two @ 4.75 " holes for the speedo and tach. Material is 1/2" of really hard barn wood glued to 1/2" exterior plywood.This thing cut the two holes I needed perfectly. I cut half way through flipped it over and cut the remainder.Still seems plenty sharp but don't know how many more cuts like this I could expect. However, I would think that cutting softer wood it would last pretty well.
