Very eye catching!
I purchased this to put in the garden in the front of my yard and it is absolutely perfect. The colors are wonderfully bright and it is large enough to be very visible from the street.

Arrived broken
Packed well, no packing material damage. My guess - since the battery box (under his feet) glue had become undone, when that rattled around inside him it broke the top of his hat.

I just love Uncle Sam. He is a beauty. He is a substantial item. He is hefty. Uncle Sam is well-made, and the paint job is well-done (I wish on the top of his hat they had made it the burgundy instead of beige). We are not putting him outside. I worry that if he fell over, he would break. Plus, he is too cute to have outside. We want to enjoy him. The only problem is the lighting element. They used screws (6 tiny screws) to hold the lid closed. I have a set of tiny screwdrivers, but the screws will not come out. I am unable to light him up. I like that the lights have the timer feature (just wish I could see the lights). I am very pleased with the quality. People just love him when they see him. Uncle Sam is adorable.

This Uncle Sam statue is absolutely adorable. It's well made, stable, and sturdy. The timer is a great feature -- turn it on and the lights will stay on for six hours, go out, and come back on at the same time the next day.The battery compartment is odd and I almost took a star off for it -- it has six tiny little screws that have to come out to get it open. But I'm hoping the batteries will last a long time and we won't need to do that often. Even with that, I love this little guy. And it would make a great gift.
