There are a lit of short, different songs. These books are made for beginners, to learn how to read music, learn the keys, and play small, non-intimidating songs. If you are looking for sheet music, these are not for you. If you are learning to play piano, or have a little one who is learning to play, these are perfect.

Does this teach how to read sheet music?

Yes. This Piano Method is designed to teach a young student (6 to 8 years old) how the play piano which includes lessons on reading sheet music.
