unique party Strawberry Standard Pinata, 16-inch Width x 18-inch Height

We ordered several piñatas to donate to our daughter's cash-strapped school to lighten up the end-of-year party. This strawberry-piñata seemed like an excellent target with a summertime theme for the children to beat up and to take their frustrations out on.The mostly red coloured piñata was not that cheap, as they never are, but its fairly sizeable, slightly larger than a basket ball, so it can hold a good amount of sweets. The piñata is a ‘branded’ one, caring a “unique pinata tag” so it appears to be professionally made and of good quality.A plastic hook on top allows you to connect it to a swinging rope.It arrived in a large protective box, but that’s were we were disappointed. I normally would not leave comments about shipping and packaging but this was outrageous. When the box arrived it was already oozing very fine paper shreds that started to fill our hallway and living room. Then upon opening the box, the tiny shreds flew out everywhere as it turned out to be filled up with paper shreds. The pinata was somewhere in the middle, its typical paper swirl decoration inundated with these paper particles. Soon our entire room was covered with these shreds and it took us days to get rid of all of them. Very smart move by the seller, to empty their paper shredder in our box. Moreover despite the packaging the strawberry came out with a big dent on its side, making it look like a crushed, slightly off piece fruit. It wasn’t really possible to get it in shape again. We should have returned, but couldn’t bother to get the box and its paper shreds out again.

I bought this for my 10 year old twins birthday party during lockdown. I have never used a piñata before and we absolutely loved it. We had so much fun and it took quite a battering. It was extremely sturdy, had to get Dad to give it a good few whacks to start breaking it up. Once the sweets started coming out my kids were over the moon. Great fun, I would highly recommend a piñata for birthday parties. This one was decorated really well and held a kilo bag of sweets with ease.

The cutest pinata there ever was! Didn't actually buy to use as a pinata but as a prop for a set. It currently hangs in my studio and gets lots of comments!! Would be brilliant at a strawberry themed celebration that's for sure!

The hole of which to fill the Pinata up from has to be punctured to do so but then doesn't come with a cover to replace it so we had to patch it together as best we could. The fact that it has the instructions on the hole is even more of an eye sore against the pretty strawberry pinata.Maybe this was all superfluous as the pinata came apart on the third strike! I had high hopes having read other reviews but can say sadly I would not recommend this product.

Great product, easy to fill, quite big, great price.
