nice Egyptian music
This CD is excellent, if you like authentic Egyptian music, of course. Leila is a famous American dancer in Cairo and the CD contains the music of her show. Some pieces are instrumental and the others are sung by a male singer. I just find his voice slightly monotonous. The CD includes classical pieces such as Ganelhawa and Daret el ayam,it finishes with a drum solo.

This CD is excellent for bellydance practice and drilling. It has a nice selection of tempos and styles, and it's fun to dance to!

Diese vielseitige und schöne CD ist ein Sahnestückchen für alle Fans ägyptischer Bauchtanzmusik. Tänzerin Leila hat eine tolle und sehr tanzbare Auswahl getroffen: Lieder von Oum Kalsoum, Abdel Halim Hafez sind genauso vertreten wie ein moderner Shaabi, es gibt ein Saidi-Stück, einen schönen Baladi und natürlich auch ein Trommelsolo.Alles in allem eine sehr empfehlenswerte CD, die bestimmt oft zum Einsatz kommt!
