Works as advertised
I wanted this so I could mount a camera on my bird feeder pole but this is designed to be used on a mast or 1-2” pole not the typical 1/2 “ poles.

Weatherproof with no issues
I bought this to mount my security cameras. The mount withstood sun, rain, winds, and snow. That speaks to the quality and sturdiness. It was an amazing buy as I did not want to drill holes into the outside of the house.

The mounting bracket is just fine. However, the band clamps provided with it are garbage
It went together and installed just fine. However, the band clamps provided with this mount are utter garbage. They are not stainless steel - they started rusting badly enough to start leaving streaks after only 3 weeks outside. When I tried to remove them so they could be replaced with actual stainless band clamps, both of the screws popped right out instead of loosening the band.Considering how much they had rusted in just a period of 3 weeks, there is no way these things would last for more than a year outside in any kind of damp climate. If you do end up purchasing this, do yourself a favor; toss the provided clamps and go buy some good ones at the local hardware store
