We've gone to the mountain and back again on coffee, trying to find just the right bean or blend. Lately we've been doing a big-name ground coffee and have enjoyed it a lot. Got this to try out and thought why not. We already had a blade grinder. Wow! Now we remember what freshly ground coffee is like. The taste is much better. Not more intense, necessarily, but fuller and more robust. (I've been using a blade grinder and some coffee lovers swear by burr grinders so we'll try that next.)The only downside is the cost which is about 1/3 more than preground. Divide that out over the number of cups of coffee - and compare it to what you'd get at a coffee shop - and the price is not bad at all.

The whole bean Colombian from Melitta is a consistent coffee every bag . Plus in 2lb bags it is a very good price too.

This is good coffee for the price. Not exceptional but has good flavor. I'd probably buy it again considering the price.

These beans has similar DNA of the ones jack used on his bean stalks, they are magical.

My husband and I both tend to gravitate towards dark roasts and this one is DELICIOUS! We have never tried the Melitta brand before and I feel like we have been missing out!This Columbian coffee is bold, rich tasting, and not incredibly bitter. It has a very slight bitterness that is expected with any dark roast but it's subtle and pleasant tasting. I actually prefer a slight hint of bitterness in my dark roasts so this was right up my alley! This coffee tastes so smooth and rich, even when drinking it black. (some coffee tastes horrible black and you are forced to smother it with other additives in order for it to taste good) Not this one!!!!The beans were fragrant and filled our entire kitchen with their wonderful, rich aroma when grinding. Nothing beats grinding your own fresh beans. The finished cup always comes out better than pre-ground coffee, in my opinion. I didn't find the beans to be overly oily either which is wonderful because that can cause a real nightmare for our grinder.Delicious tasting cup of coffee and one that I will be seeking out in the future!

I absolutely love, love, loved these coffee beans. I just ran out after several months kept super tightly in my canister made specifically for coffee beans, and I will be eagerly ordering more. Melitta has been a reliably good brand in my experience but this is the first time I have tasted their product since being a little more educated about coffee, coffee flavors, and now getting a very good espresso machine that will really make it known if your beans are good or bad.These beans produced absolutely gorgeous cappuccinos and espresso shots. I grind mine fresh before making my cup of coffee and lemme tell you, they are truly divine. Rich with caramelly notes but still a lot of brightness. Every cup has been a delight.I would unquestionably suggest these especially if you enjoy Columbian beans specifically and prefer a richer roast. There is nothing burned about this flavor at all, either - just pure, fresh, coffee bean goodness. Highly highly recommended!

This is WHOLE BEAN coffee. Will need a coffee grinder to use this bag of coffee.It is 2 pounds so it is going to go far (at least in my house).To try it out, I ground 2 tablespoons of beans. I added them to my coffee maker with three 6 ounce servings of water. (to the 3 line).This produced what looked like a slightly not as dark as I would have liked coffee, but to taste it it was perfect. Not weak and not too strong. To make it again, I would probably use just a little less water.To taste it, it reminded me of one of my favorite local restaurants. The flavor was clean tasting. A traditional coffee flavor. Not the fancy coffee shop flavor of coffee but not the inexpensive brands that I can buy at the local store.I enjoyed the flavor a lot. It reminding me of ordering coffee from one of my favorite old restaurants that I don't go to often anymore.

I am surprised with how mellow this espresso roast hits - Melitta Dark Roast Espresso - Bella Crema. It starts with a drier musky feel, but it’s a dark brew that’s quite smooth and very even. However, it lacks any strong identifying notes. There’s nothing in the taste that pushes me away, but also nothing that draws me in. This is a good, decent brew, just not special.

My wife and I have enjoyed Melita Bella Cream coffee for a few years now. It really is true to it's name of Bella Creama as I have found the creama just after grinding and producing an espresso in my Saeco machine is very good. The aroma is full and I like the flavorful yet smooth taste, very pleasant and unique. I can't think of a better in this price range and have tried some coffees more than double the price that don't measure up to this one. Melita Bella Creama coffee has been difficult to find in this area, I'm sure due the popularity, and buying it through a coffee club has been our only choice for now.

We switched to beans a few years back. We have tried many varieties but they were expensive.Malita coffee beans are our go to now. The price has gone up quite a bit over the covid, that was a bit depressing. That has nothing to do with Amazon.We have noticed, with all coffee, each bag is not the same. Batches vary. So will the coffee.It's the best brand of coffee for the price. Wonderful flavor.

This is the best coffee! I use it in my pour over coffee maker and my espresso machine. So good and decent price too!

Exceptional flavor! Melitta's 100% Colombian Whole Bean coffee is a true delight. Rich aroma and smooth taste make every cup a pleasure. Highly recommend for coffee enthusiasts

Works well in a French Press. Nice aroma and NOT bitter. Slightly sweet. Excellent.
