Govee RGBIC LED Strip Lights, Smart Segmented Color Control, 16.4ft WiFi, App LED Lights Work with Google Assistant, Music Sync, Color Changing Lights for Bedroom, Desk and Kitchen

In my photos, they're the light strips around the windows, although those rooms feature the WiFi bulbs and a corner Lyra as well. The colors from the photo aren't true, but that's the camera's fault in this instance.The strips are very bright, bright enough to gently light my fairly-large living room all by themselves. However, brighter, whiter tones tend not to be "true" to the way they look in the app. If you play with it a bit, you can find what you want, although the Warm White/Cool White settings are much more questionable. Stick further toward the Warm and it seems close to white.Deeper colors, like the red and green shown, are much easier to choose and are very accurate to the display on your phone or tablet.While the lights come with plenty of built-in effects, I like designing my own as I tend to prefer more gentle and subtle lighting effects than the ones included. The app's a bit tough to navigate at first, but once you get used to it, it's not too hard. I dashed together that red/green chaser for Christmas around the windows in a few minutes. It's not gentle or subtle, but in this case I have two windows and have the lights rotating in different directions.Combine them, as shown, with Govee bulbs or a Lyra or floor lamp and you can have your own holiday or monthly show. January will be cool blues, February pinks and reds for Valentine's Day, March greens of many tones for St. Patrick's Day, and so on.I don't have any WiFi connection issues, but have a very large and boosted network. As long as your cell phone can connect to your WiFi in any given room of the house, your Govee lights should be able to as well.

The media could not be loaded. I have zero complaints about any Govee products I have. I have the immersion kit, the light strip, the glide and 2 Lyra lamps and the Y lights on the way. The app is absolutely fantastic and easy to navigate, the colors are so bright and concentrated, ans Alexa has no problem connecting to or controlling any of the lights. I can connect them all to the same routine and they all sync up to dreamview which is huge to me. With all these lights in the same room it's really easy to get lost in a movie or video game when your entire room is responding accurately to what's going on on the screen. To anyone who has NanoLeaf panels: take them down sell them and do yourself the service of investing into Govee Hexa lights. Govee really came into the game and said "I can do it all better." I've had Nano Panels, Phillips Hue and Energizer products and they've all been replaced by Govee.By the way, this is not a sponsored or paid review, this has all been out of pocket and my true, honest opinion. Govee all around is just better.

Traditionally I would just buy whatever the cheapest rgb strip I could find but that’s changed with Govee- I don’t think I’ll go back to the cheap ones as these were worth the premium.I’ve used these for behind TVs, above kitchen cabinets, in the bathroom, and on a bed frame and they’ve been a pleasure to work with every time.The app is polished and works well, I love the fact that you can change the color of each segment instead of the whole strip- this lets you create chasing color effects or a flowing rainbow rather than just fading through colors. The adhesive is strong and the controller is well designed instead of being a small heat shrink wrapped circuit board on the end of a wire.Govee, if you read this- please make a version of this strip with the silicone covering. The leds on this strip are exposed which means they can get funky when put in kitchens or other areas- they aren’t smooth so you need to be careful when you put these on a surface that a human might touch because the leds arent protected. The rgbic leds on your ambient tv light are silicone encased but I can’t find a strip with that feature. Please also make your led driver available for purchase- sometimes I use o ly half a strip and I have to discard the other half since there are t any compatible drivers that I’ve found!

I wish I could give these 4 and a half stars, because overall they're pretty great, just a couple minor things. The good things: the app is basically plug and play, there are at least a couple hundred customization options, and the ability to turn the brightness up and down is a lifesaver. The ability to have multiple colors on one strand is also pretty cool.My only complaints are that these are a little bit pricey compared to other lights (which I can honestly look past given all the other benefits) and the main complaint, the lights have a spot in the middle where they meet and have a connector with the power switch/plug/etc. Basically , you don't have one light strand, you have two that meet on a white connector. The connector was okay once I got over that aspect, but it's kinda unwieldy and I wish that the lights were one strand that plugged in at one end. Overall though, this is a pretty small thing, and I've used these lights every day since I bought them. Definitely would recommend these!

Even tho it didn't fit my walls all the way around completely, it gave my room a nice vibe to it. Sticking it to the walls so far has been great, super strong adhesive surprisingly, I did line it up crooked even with a stencil but I'm fine with it that way. The settings are easy to follow, and the color selection is amazingly great. The given app isn't too hard to navigate, it has a sleep timer and it has a morning timer as well, so u can set your lights to wake u up in the morning if you want to add more ways to get up. One thing that I love about these is the fact that they are dimmable, colors are able to shift around with certain presets, and you can have a full on rainbow in ur room if u want. If you want to have some cool lights in ur room, living room, kitchen or wherever, you can definitely grab these. Just make sure to measure out your walls and whatnot to pick the right length.
