Sleekit Mr Tod (Fantastic Mr. Fox, in Scots)

What a discovery!The core story is amazing (though I haven’t read it in English yet) but this Scots version is the most skinkling, inspiring and generally brawest thing I have come across. Hats off to the translator who has injected new life into Scots and made it accessible in a way that meant even my Australian partner got most of it!

Excellent service, excellent condition and a fantastic rendering of Roald Dahl's tale in Scots. The Scots language brings out additional aspects of humour.

I purchased this for a family member who loves fantastic Mr. Fox, and with a Scottish decent. It is completely weird. Lol. It's in Scottish, hard to understand, but it's a great conversation starter. This is definite a book a hardcore Fantastic Mr. Fox fans, or Scottish folk.

Amazingly fun to read aloud, even with my non-authentic attempt at a Scot accent. Really enjoyed this version!

I just wish there was a book two I loved the fox characters etc. A sweet and funny story and will read again.
