My mom had me order this for her for a newly married couple she knows. The figurine arrived, just as almost all the Jim Shore/Enesco products I order do, well packaged and free from damage (occasionally you will get one that has some bumps, bruises, chips, and cracks, but that is why you always go for the "Fulfillment By Amazon" and have them send you another. The horror stories, return to sender, replacement/reorder happens far less that you might think when ordering something made or porcelain).It's an adorable figurine and both my mom and I are in agreement, it both beautiful and well sculpted.The item is weighted, but not too weighty and it is true to size at almost six and a half inches in height; the base is approximately four by two inches in length.In my personal opinion, I believe that this product makes for a perfect wedding/bridal shower gift or even a nice cake topper or display for the sweetheart table. I fail to see how it can go wrong.

Good quality will be on top of wedding cake and it is a little heavy and bigger than expected but overall loved it !

Bought for wife to have her own collection as wedding gift

We purchased this as our cake topper, for our Disney themed wedding. The design and detail are beautiful. However, I will caution you, if you have a smaller cake, set this next to it. The item does have more weight than you would think. Unfortunately for us, one of our lovely bridesmaids, placed the topper back atop the cake, and it ultimately tipped over and Mickey's ears broke. This however, is not a fault of the manufacturer. If you choose to purchase this for your big day, just be warned while it is beautiful, you may want to consider having it sit next to your confections versus being placed on top.

Purchased this as a 30th anniversary gift for my in-laws who love Minnie & Mickey. I wasn't quite sure what to expect, size wise, but I just received it and of course had to open it. It was packaged very nicely, I was worried it would have gotten broke since nowhere on the shipping box was it marked "fragile" but it arrived in perfect condition. The piece is a nice size and so adorable with beautiful detailing. I can't wait to give it as a gift and I know it will be appreciated for years to come.

I just had to have this piece, the pose of Mickey and Minnie is the same as a Disney figurine we received as a wedding gift. Beautiful work.
