Great product
My child absolutely loves it and wears it everyday. it’s such a good way for my child to track their everyday activities and we can have a competition to see who does more steps they always win. Battery life lasts a good few days maybe more over a week. Took a couple of days to for them to figure out how it all works. But once they got used to its functionality they were good to go. Would definitely recommend.

Great product once setup*!
My 7 year old daughter loves this product, it works really well, is easy for her to use and the battery life is really good. The only negative is that setup was a real pain. The challenge was adding my daughter as a child to my Google Account. In the end I gave up doing it on my phone and ended up needing to do it all on a different device and it seemed to just work. So in summary, amazing product but difficult to setup!

Works well
8 year old daughter has this and she likes it. It’s a bit fidgety to work out all the menus and get out of water mode but has plenty nice downloadable faces that she likes. She uses it all day and keeps it on when swimming. No issues with any glitches. A good size for smaller wrists.

Worst fitbit avoid
Where do I start. I've had multiple fitbits over the years so i know all about trouble shooting. My son had the inspire before this but as that broke I decided to get this as he under 13. He already had a fitbit account. But unfortunately we had to make a whole new account he was already in my family group. But no... we couldn't use that account stupid Google has to go and mess and overcomplicated. So as my family was full I had to make a new main account for me to set up myself with fitbit which I no longer use. Then make my son a new account adding it to the new family account. What a long process. Now the fun happens. It works fine since 12 th Aug it's now 27th and it's not synced for 4/5 days his steps and sleep that is. It says its synced 9 mins ago, 36 mins ago etc etc but has a big exclamation mark saying to sync. I've contacted customer support who tell you usual rubbish as if I'm stupid. Uninstall app, restart phone /device /watch-bluetooth on and off blah blah blah. I've tried on different devices and it won't sync. I'm quite annoyed as my son challenged himself to get high amount of steps on a hike and we can't sync it it's pathetic. I'll be sending this piece of junk back. AVOID THIS FITBIT like the plague. Shame on Google for messing up something that worked before.

Child's fitbit
My grandson loved the fitbit and it seems perfect for a 7 year old. Good value for money

Great first smart watch
Ideal gift, my 6 year old loves it, step counter and active minutes tracking. Has stop watch and timers, nice and basic for a young child no cameras or games

Child's Fitbit
Great product. Quite complicated to set up on Fitbit app because of an existing device. A parent account won't allow full access so we set up the child account on an old device to get around the issues. Fitbit need to be clearer on the issues because a lot of reviewers have had similar issues

A Fitbit that's hamstrung
My son's Ace 2 died after 3 years and this seemed like the logical replacement. He was really happy with the upgrade to the screen and the fact it'd automatically track his exercise. However, after a few days it stopped synchronising to his account. We deleted it and tried to set it up again but it just kept timing out. Eventually, we set it up on my phone and even that took a number of attempts before the process would complete. This has taken the shine off it somewhat and it'd be hard to wholeheartedly recommend. I'm a gadget freak and usually set things up without so much as a glance at the instructions but resolving this required a good understanding of the process to work out when it was failing. The fault lies somewhere between the watch and the Fitbit app. Before I got it working again I actually considered just sending it back and upgrading him to a Charge model but, what do you know, Fitbit won't allow you to link a kids' account to anything other than an Ace model. Which is weird because the Ace is essentially an Inspire that's been dumbed down. There are probably nonsense legal reasons why they can't track a child's heart rate or something (the hardware is there on the bottom of the Ace 3 but disabled) but it seems like the choice for kids has been artificially narrowed. Another downside is that I've been a Fitbit user for a decade and have a collection of the proprietary charging cables. From the Ultra to the Fitbit One, to the short-lived Ionic and the Sense 2 I use now, there's been a different cable destined for landfill and the Ace 3 is no different - the charging cables we have for the Ace 2 aren't compatible. It's incredibly wasteful and frustrating to have bought into an ecosystem that keeps starting from square one. So yeah, ultimately you could say I'm not super impressed by the Fitbit Ace 3. My son is happy with the functionality and when it works it works well but the synchronisation issues seem to be endemic and something Fitbit aren't minded to fix. Bear all that in mind and look for it to be on sale if you do want to risk it.

My little one just loves it.. connected it to her phone and now she has a challenge to do more sports and steps.. She is a swimmer, so this water proof feature helps her see how much calories she did. She really loves it and charge it as soon as its empty. Which takes a long time to get empty and short time to charge. Thank you FITBIT :) Happy Kids, Happy Parent. I do recommend this product. SSM
