I used it as a camera holder

This is obviously a copy of the Cotton Carrier G3 but at a quarter of the price. I have tried it a few times while hiking and it carries camera and zoom lens no problem, while hiking you need both hands free and it does the job, the camera, so far, has been secure plus there is a security strap, just in case the camera falls. If I was a professional I would go for the Cotton Carrier but as an amateur I am happy with the Nicama and so is my wallet.

Si vous regardez cet article, c'est que vous cherchez un moyen de vous libérer du poids de l'appareil photo et son téléobjectif, en restant mobile et les deux mains libres tout en ayant un accès très rapide à l'appareil pour saisir l'occasion d'une photo. C'est idéal, le poids est bien réparti et on peut faire de longues marches avec. Je l'ai utilisé autour d'un circuit et en forêt à plusieurs reprises, pas de regret sur l'achat.

I love this harness. Would recommend. I primarily use my 75-300 mm lens when hiking for birding and this is perfect. It has a small piece that goes into the bottom of the camera (like where you would attach a tripod clip) that can help it lock into the harness. The harness took a bit of adjustment to get it to fit me how I liked but it’s a game changer with weight distribution for hiking and is saving my shoulders and neck. I can still wear a backpack with it and because my hands are free I can use hiking poles allowing my camera to just be attached to me without bouncing. It has a tether so you can attach the camera to the harness while photographing (in case you drop it). The only thing I had to get used to was the camera blocking my feet when I was on a more challenging hike. I had to go a bit slower to make sure of my footing since I couldn’t see my feet. Used on 2 big hikes in Jasper, Alberta this past summer and smaller hikes around the area I live.

Jag använder oftast 300mm objektiv så det blir tungt att bära kameran på promenader. Med denna kan jag utan problem bära den i flera timmar utan att jag blir trött. Lite krångligt att ta upp kameran ur hållaren ibland, men på det stora hela en utmärkt produkt. Nu återstår bara att se hur hållbar den är, återkommer om ett år!
