What's the best way to clean the scrubber?

Great question! We actually have a video showing you a couple of different cleaning methods. Hope this is helpful! Sincerely, Gilden Tree

Thank you for your inquiry! Our terra-cotta Foot Scrubbers are handmade in Pakistan. The owners of Gilden Tree, Kumy (a Pakistani-American) and his wife Ann (a native Nebraskan) have had close ties to those making our Foot Scrubbers. We’re proud of the fact that starting in 1993, we've helped educate women and children in Pakistan, through educating the women who make Foot Scrubbers and their children. Hope this is helpful!

Why is my scrubber turning white when I use it?

Hi Kee! The Foot Scrubber is made of 100% terra-cotta. Haven't heard of this issue before, but if you have hard water in your area, over time hard water deposits may build up. (You see this sometimes on terra-cotta pots.) But it's super easy to fix: just soak your Foot Scrubber overnight in a cup with 1/2 cup water and 1/2 cup vinegar. Then just rinse it off in the morning. Vinegar will break down the hard water without harming the terra-cotta. Hope this is helpful! Sincerely, Gilden Tree

Is the “set of two” individually packaged? I’m considering these for gift giving and it would be cheaper to buy 1 set of 2 instead of 2 sets of 1

Mine only came as a set of one..I got 2 sets of 1..love mine
