Hook & loop tape, commonly called Velcro (original maker), is an excellent invention for many applications!I'm using this particular light weight and thin version (for fabrics and other craft uses) to hold my sockless insoles to the footbed of my sandals! This way, they can be removed and laundered, and re-connected to the sandal... For a washable sandal, the insole and sandal can be laundered together, while attached... I've tried it already, and it works just fine! If you place it strategically, you don't feel the Velcro at all... I'm so please with this new use! Thank you, Velcro!

This will not work at all if you are dealing with any kind of substantial fabric, and most especially denim or any kind of outerwear. It simply doesn't adhere, and when it eventually comes off after about 2 or 3 washes, it leaves the surface of the fabric stiff and Cakey. I should have opted for something more substantial

This ultra-slim Velcro was perfect for my project, which was a family pedigree chart on nylon fabric and 25 laminated family photos to attach. I wanted Velcro that wouldn't catch on everything and this did the trick. The adhesive is also super-strong and held fast to both the nylon fabric and the plastic lamination, even after numerous placings and removals during the activity. I recommend it!
