LITTLE SHOP OF HAMSTERS REVIEW
The 14th book of the Goosebumps Horroland series is a imaginatively vicious little tale. R.L.Stine really captures the want and desire to own a pet that we all went through as a child and turns it into a creepy nightmare. The book is a true page turner that is full of crazy escapades and tense situations. The characters are solid if a little familiar and the hamsters are truly menacing. The story has some great twists and really pulls the rug from under you leading to a fun final that's not as epic as it could have been but is still a great ending. The Horroland adventure at the beginning fails to give us the chance of a thrilling ride instead giving us cannibal shrimp and the ending with chillers shop spoils the twist ending involving Lexi.SCARES 2\5DEATHS: 0 (no hamsters where harmed in the making)MONSTERS (evil hamsters, killer shrimp,)VIOLENCE (lots and lots and lots of BITING)VERDICT: while never truly scary, praise must be given to Stine who really let's his imagination out of its cage and runs with it, funny, tense and twisted this is one book you will want to sink your teeth into. Even though its bark is worse than it bite, you will never feel the same about hamsters again!

Another great Goosebumps book.
Bought this book as a gift for my daughter, she loves Goose bumps and all to do with it. Anytime she gets a new book she just sits and reads from cover to cover, all else is forgotten! She is steadily collecting all the books and its good to know they can still be purchased on Amazon as they are near impossible to find in the high street bookstore now.
