Appears sturdy and durable.
We bought this 8+ months ago for outdoor use in AZ. It’s hot but generally dry here so I can’t speak to potential rust, but the mount is working well with semi-regular use. Easy to install and adjust. Stable movement/positioning without sag. Outdoor TVs are heavier than normal TVs and this seems up to the job.

I know I payed good money for this but had a cheap one before and it pays not to cheap out.this is the one I should have bought right off the bat

Sturdy. Good Quality for Outdoor Environments
I would recommend using where moisture is a factor. Rust will develop on powder coated metal mounts that are not really designed for long-term exposure to weather regardless of whether it is under cover. Metal curtain rods in same covered loggia that have no direct exposure to rain, have still rusted and had to be sanded and repainted.
