Perfect for my bald head. It fits comfortably and securely. People with hair don't realize how much it protects the scalp. My poor head will never win a beauty contest because I skin it more than a five-year-old skins his knees. This bump cap is perfect for when I work on my cars and need to get inside a wheel well or under the car to make repairs. The short 1" brim is perfect for such close in work. This is absolutely a great value and the money I save on bandages make it ever more affordable.

To me, this item looks kinda goofy… but functionally it is ideal protection for your head. I’ve working on home Shop renovations that require me working in the attic and up at ceiling height where nails, and brackets are ready to scratch my head. It has saved my head from bumps and scratches in the first project I’ve used it with. This bump hat is very comfortable to wear for long periods. I got the short brim option since that gets the brim out of the way of a head lamp I use. I fully recommend this bump hat.

The helmet works well. It is small enough to not get in the way and tough enough to handle the occasional bump of your head. It would be nice if it had an option for a strap to help keep it on your head.

This hat looks like a regular cap but has a firm lining and is wonderful for our purpose.

This bump cap is very comfortablie and lightweight. I forget that I have it on until I hit my head on somthight. I work in the telcom industry, up in and above the cable rack. There are screws, threaded rods, cable rack ends and cut off cable tie ends protruding every where. Got tired of cuts and scratches on my head. Purchased about a month ago, haven't had any since. So happy that I purchased this.

Qualifier, I’ve only worn this with a light duty headlamp. So the falling off is partially due to that. 70% the shallow hat, 30% the headlamp. The hat is shallow. I have a normal sized head. If anything, some caps sit too low on my head. This is the first time I’ve experienced the opposite. It reminds me of a yarmulke. The adjustable band is elastic and Velcro with no cinch. So you can only get it so tight, and even then, it flexes. A non flexible band would likey solve this problem. When I wear this hat as tight as comfortably possible, it will often slip right off my head if I lean over too much or for too long. Yes, I have a light headlamp on. But I didn’t have issues with a ball cap. I bought this because to prevent forehead pressure from the headlamp as well as protect my head while working on my car. It’s fine if you’re mostly upright, but if you lean over to look under something, expect it to slide right off your head.

Hard wearing bump cap. Worth the extra money compared to the cheaper brands. Easy to remove material for washing and doesn't shrink and colours don't run. Very comfortable to wear.

Really like this purchase I got the medium size peak because I am fitting into small holes on an RV and a large peak would get in the way. And it’s protect my head many times from sharp objects.

I work construction and am always bumping my head. The day I bought this cap I stood up into a 4 inch rusty spike and the cap took the impact. I wear it always when I'm working, its comfortable and not too hot, perfect for indoor work and three seasons.
