Quite complicated to use but really good product
For a first time resin user I found it a little bit complicated to use but I think that would have been the case no matter which brand I went for. Instructions were clear and the final result was great

Good price
I only needed a very small quantity, and this set came at a good price. It comes as a kit of all the bits that I need: measuring cups, mixing sticks, gloves, pipettes- what for? Should last me a long time as long as I'm careful when mixing it up.

Expect long cure time
I bought this as it was discounted at the time and looked like good value. Although, I don't tend to swap brands, I thought it was worth a try.Things I noticed when working with it.1. This resin prefers a much warmer environment than I usually have my workroom. My workroom is a steady 23 degrees celcius when I work with resin.2. Working time is barely 30 minutes.3. It degasses not too badly itself, but I did use a heat gun to help a little.4. Manufacturer claims 8 to 24 hours cure time. Not even close in my experience when testing this. Unmoulded after 24 hours, it was still very pliable. Not thick or large pieces either. Just some little jewellery moulds. Took about 72 hours to be fully cured.5. There was clearly detectable fumes when working with this brand. All in all, if you are prepared to work around it's quirks, go for it.Personally, I'll not be buying it again. Its just too slow to cure.

Best for 1st timers!
Real novice here!! Used a different brand for the 1st time & it was a DISASTER, zero instructions, i paid £30 because it came with extras like mica and inks... but product was too tacky and runny plus hardening within 5 mins of pour... i then tried with this product, and it came with clear instructions, easy to use and very nice finish. I recommend to all beginners using epoxy resin. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Read the instructions on how to use resin. Seriously.
If you are a novice resin artist, seriously, read the instructions on how to use this resin. It's not hard. They're literally right there in the package. Don't complain about how the resin didn't meet your expectations because it didn't set in 5 hours or because it got everywhere and you didn't wear gloves blah blah blah.Just. Read the instructions. The kit comes with the resin and the hardener. You MUST use them at a 1:1 ratio in order for them to work properly. You must also be in the correct environment. The kit also includes gloves, a few pipettes, plastic cylinders of various volumes to do your mixing in, a scraper, and silicone or rubber stirring sticks. It also comes with sandpaper, which you use to, well, sand your completed project, but remember that you can't sand a soft resin project. It does come with INSTRUCTIONS that are pretty freaking easy to follow.I attached some pictures of the projects that I made. They weren't that hard and they're also not perfect.I saw some complaints about the resin smelling weird. It's basically a chemical art project. I'm not sure what you were expecting??? This resin is actually pretty LOW odor. Like, I barely smelled it while I was working. So, ymmv but it really isn't that stinky.I also saw some complaints about how the resin was yellow or yellowed after a while, or that it was cloudy. You'll see -- in the instructions -- that exposure to a variety of environments will change the way resin behaves. It typically is still okay to use, just do some research. I know that's hard for some of you, but you can do it.Overall, good product! Works as it's supposed to and is actually really good for beginners. Go for it.

Good resin with a decent price point
I've ordered and used Nicpro several times and am quite happy with the finished products. For the price, I think it's a good buy, provided you are aware of what it can and can't actually do.I have used it to make dice (10mm - 40mm), with and without inclusions, as well as votive holders ( 2-5in deep) with floral inclusions, and coasters (.25 in thick) with alcohol ink and mica powder. My work area temp ranges between 68°-80°F. I mix 1:1 by volume, using separate cups, pouring into the mixing cup.I have never experienced an 8 hour cure time, when curing in 80° temps, the curing time can be 12 hours, but it is still fingernail soft. Sanding can be done after 36-48 hours. Cooler than 80° it is a full 24-36 hours to achieve hardness, sanding can occur 48 after the initial pour.I've had no issues pouring any depth, although I have maxed out at 5ins.It doesn't have too much of an smell, but as with ALL resins, you should be wearing gloves, a respirator, and long sleeves as PPE. A case could also be made for safety goggles. This is for all resins. Also: do not get this on your skin, in your eyes, nose, or mouth. DO NOT breathe in the fumes - low VOC or not - it can cause an allergic reaction and screw your lungs up. Get a respirator rated for fumes. If you like your flooring/table/desk, wipe up any spills immediately with a baby or cleaning wipe.I've had no any issues with alcohol ink inhibiting curing, but I'm very careful to keep my ratio down (>5% by volume). This resin, like all 1:1 resins, is quite thick and if you're pouring into a mold without a wide mouth surface area (like dice molds, candle molds etc.), you will have bubbles. The only way to remove them completely is with a pressure pot. No amount of water-bathing, careful stirring, heat gun, or toothpicks will change that. If you don't have a pressure pot, I'd recommend a 2:1 resin like Liquid Diamonds.All-in-all this is a solid resin, and if you're just starting out, the free tools and mice powder are great. Toss the gloves and pick up some nerite gloves from the first aid section at Walmart, it will make your like so much easier!

First Time Resin Artist
This is the first time I started using resin and as a beginner this product is decent and easy to work with. The instructions are simple, not difficult at all to follow. There's no strong chemical odor, the resin blends well with paints/pigments, although it cures faster when paired with acrylics. Because this is my first time using resin there was a learning curve. To get rid of the bubbles, stir slowly, literally go as slow as possible when mixing the liquids or else there will be bubbles, and let it sit for a minute or two before you start using it. And if you've got a torch lighter gently blast the top layer. Overall I am greatly pleased with this product, the price is reasonable for the amount you're getting and if you're new to resin give this brand a try.
