Worthless
Removing it from the package and it literally fell apart. The flange that the securing bolt goes into separated and made it useless. Not worth any money at all.

Broken by 4th Ride
Just my 4th ride with this holder and it snapped in two. I should have pulled a $5 bill out of my wallet and set it on fire. Would have been more entertaining and less frustrating. On my third ride, the top piece that forms this holder's sliding 'quick release' mechanism slid off, causing my $45 tactical flashlight to go tumbling onto the pavement at about 15mph. Good thing the flashlight is well constructed, because this mount certainly is not. I do street riding, with minimal small pavement bumps, nothing serious. When I got home I saw that it was possible to remount the light securely and decided to give it a second chance.During my 4th and final ride, I gently twisted the light on its pivot and the entire top half of the pivot broke cleanly off in my hands. I did absolutely nothing extraordinary with this holder, I simply used it and it and it failed miserably. After scouring Amazon for over an hour, I've come to realize that there's a scourge of poorly designed, poorly built light holders for bikes out there and I can now confidently include this one among them. I did find the FOME Quick-release Bike Mount ALB-10, which received positive reviews, but I've decided to splurge on the INTEY 1600 Lumens Bicycle Headlight with Wire Remote Button because it has some additional cool features and because it offers a lifetime warranty.Proceed with negative expectations only.

Perfect! Does exactly what I'd hoped.

Yes! This is what I was looking for.
Yes! This is what I was looking for -- fits the bill perfectly. Choose your bike flashlight independently/separately from the mount. Sturdy construction. Features a quick disconnect that actually works quickly. The rubber for the quick disconnect strap is very heavy too -- really good stuff. Zero issues.
