Will this support other communications apps like Slak? Or amazon Alexa calls/drop in/messages?

Can it be used as a digital picture frame as well? Can family members send a bunch of new photos that will just show up on the frame?

Great question! Portal's Superframe displays Facebook photos, so with a shared album, you can certainly display all the wonderful photos that family members add, in nearly real time.

Can I watch Amazon video?
