The Sicily Cookbook: Authentic Recipes from a Mediterranean Island

A beautifully put together book with good detail on the history of Sicilian food culture, people, photography and a wide variety of recipes. However quite a few of the ingredients are quite niche and may be hard to source outside of Italy. It's also heavy on meat and fish; not as much for vegetarians as I have seen in other books on the same topic. I'll probably look at this book more than I will use it to cook with, but it has been beautifully done.

Was expecting special & creativity but it was very basic for an experienced cook

I bought this for someone else, but it is stronger than me and I had to skim through the whole book.I just love it. A beautiful mix of regional foods and scenic images. The book gives you the urge to cook and to travel OR to travel in order to cook on-location (wishfully).Am very likely to gift copies to others in the future.

The book is awesome with gorgeous photography. I’ve had to step out of my comfort zone with some of the recipes I’ve cooked from this so far, but oh was it worth it.

The book is beautifully done. Unfortunately it was damaged in shipment, the spine was broken and it was to be a gift. I understand that due to the virus and the extra demand for deliveries this is bound to happen.
