Competent performance at a comfortable price
The market for sub-$50 wireless earbuds has exploded over the past few months, so what's to consider when choosing from the myriad options available? Especially when you can't actually put them on and listen for a while. I guess it's probably word of mouth and reviews like this. (Full disclosure: these earbuds were provided at no cost in exchange for an honest review.)First impressions: the packaging is very clean and first class. You feel like you're getting a product that the vendor is proud of and went to the expense of packaging very nicely. For some reason, I initially had difficulty pairing the Dudios M3 earbuds with my Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus. They paired easily and quickly with my wife's Pixel 4a and even her ONN tablet by Walmart. However, after rebooting my phone, the earbuds paired effortlessly and I've had no pairing issues since. I don't think the problem was with the earbuds; rather, my phone.Once paired, I tried out all the various size tips provided to find the ones that gave the most comfortable fit and best sound. My previous experience with earbuds told me that proper fit in the ear canal made a HUGE difference in sound quality (my old Sennheiser CX-150 wired earbuds being my go-to choice for fit and sound quality). However, I was never able to achieve the superior level of audio range and clarity that the Dudios M3 earbuds are capable of with any of the tips provided. I could achieve outstanding audio quality by gently holding the earbuds just a tad tighter against my ear, but when I released the pressure, the sound quality dropped significantly. I even purchased a set of memory foam earbud tips to see if they would provide a better audio quality. They didn't. I don't know, maybe it's just my ear shape. Now don't get me wrong. The audio quality is certainly adequate, not tinny sounding at all when you choose the best earbud tips. And with the right tips, the earbuds are quite comfortable enough to wear for extended periods of walking or maybe even running. Just don't expect the immersive sound experience you get from studio quality over-the-ear headphones. My only enduring frustration and reason for not giving a 5-start rating is the lack of tactile or audio feedback when you tap the "MFB" button to select various options. I found it difficult to accurately find and tap the MFB and with no tactile or audio feedback in the form of a click or beep, you don't know if your tap was recognized or not, so you tap again, and because multiple taps activate different functions, you can easily get "lost" in the tap sequence and end up holding the MFB to power down and restart. This was particularly frustrating for me and it seems like some kind of feedback for each tap would have been an obvious feature to include.Overall, after comparing features and audio performance to several other types and brands of headsets and earbuds that I and my 15-year-old grandson own, I am comfortable with a 4-start rating. For a very affordable price you get a quite competent set of earbuds. And maybe they'll add the audio feedback to the MFB tap function.

Dudios: The brand to watch!
I couldn't be happier with these new Tic earbuds from Dudios. I already own the Dudios Shuttle earbuds, and I've enjoyed them so much that I wanted to get a second set so I could keep one in the bedroom and one for when I'm on the go.SOUND: Although I have no complaints for the Shuttles, I wanted to try the Tic earbuds for their high resolution "gaming mode" (plus, the sleek design is quite nice). I have to say, I am really impressed with the clear and precise sound! I played a favorite album, and it's really hard to believe you can get sound like that at this price. I could detect and isolate the different instruments along with their placement in the stereo field.PAIRING: The fast pairing is no joke! Unreliable pairing has been the main thing that kept me out of earbuds for the longest time, but these REALLY are so fast and easy. I have a Google Pixel 4... evidently even Google couldn't sort out the pairing issues with their flagship buds, so I sure wasn't going to gamble on those. But these are always paired by the time I even get them in my ears. Here's what really blew me away: I'm often using my laptop with the buds when I receive a phone call. My 2nd pair of earbuds really came in handy there, to save the fuss of pairing back and forth, right? Well, sure they did... but that's because I assumed there would be some hassle in trying to switch immediately from one device to the other. The Dudios Tics switched IMMEDIATELY between the laptop and the phone, in less than a second!FIT: Going back to that "sleek design," it turns out that was probably not merely a cosmetic upgrade; the more economical form factor allows the bud's pad to rest neatly inside the ear canal, while the rest of the earbud's body floats free without bumping the earlobe. This is MAJOR for me, because I evidently have an inordinately large canal in my left ear. No earbuds would stay in there when I got sweaty. I even had to buy a special set of extra large pads for my Shuttles for when I would do yard work, but that's really no fault of the Shuttle. Literally no earbud I've ever used would stay in my left ear, but the Shuttle did better than any before it - even without the aftermarket pad. But now, thanks to the Tic's sleek form factor that allows the pad to go deeper into the canal while floating freely around the lobe, I don't even have to use the extra large (included) pad! I just cannot overstate what an asset that is.VOICE: The stereo vocal mics also help deliver a clean and clear signal over the phone. In testing with a friend, I was pleasantly surprised how they managed to do a good job of filtering out background noise and wind draft.RECAP: 1. Sound quality I love 2. SERIOUSLY fast and reliable pairing 3. THEY FIT WONDERFULLY!!! 4. Great voice quality for calls 5. A price that still has me scratching my head (AMAZING!)I live on a shoestring budget, and I routinely do lots of research before a tech purchase. The Dudios Tic TWS Earbuds pack an amazing punch into a wonderful little package. With two Dudios products in my collection (so far), I'd like to let others know this is really a brand you can count on for consistent quality!

Affordable all around true wireless earphone!
I have bought a lot of bluetooth earphones and true wireless ones as I have 3 kids and my wife and I use them all the time. I have purchased something as expensive as $300 from Sony. Some broke a few months later. Some broken by my teenage kids. This one is by far the best I have ever used in terms of sound quality, connectivity, and ease of use. It pairs quickly without much tweaking. Noise cancelling is better than average. Sound quality is fantastic as this uses the most recent bluetooth technology and sound chip. I highly recommend it!

Comfortable and good quality sound
This set of earbuds are a very good bargain for the money. The case is USB-C so faster charging time and they fit very comfortable. I have mainly used for music listening and have a very good impression. They have clean highs and powerful lows in my experience. I used them to do phone calls in a quiet environment, good quality there too. The function buttons are not difficult to use, but it does take a little time to get to know them. I would recommend this product. I have not tried the waterproof capabilities, so wont comment on that. All in all very good.
