Printed manual states up to 128 mb card, description on amazon says up to 256, wondering which is correct? thanks

If I remember correctly, it originally only could handle a 128gb. However after a firmware update to the camera it increased to 256 gb. I personally use a 64gb card. They are cheap and last a couple years if you buy a good brand. The recordings loop. When full it records over the oldest video first as long as the video was not locked as an incident. So I get about 10 hours of video before it records over the oldest.

My cigarette lighter doesn’t turn off even if my car is not running...will this drain my batterry?

You can buy a fuse tap from other vendors on Amazon and use it to hardwire the camera to a switched fuse (like windshield wipers and possibly the radio) in your vehicle. 5his will cut power to the camera when the vehicle is off. And start it up when the car starts. No need to worry about plugging/unplugging the camera.

Can this connect to rear cam

No, the V1Basic does not support a rear camera thus the plug (hole) is there. Read the technical specifications, available on Rexing's website.

I mount the cam on my dash, since I don't like it hanging on the windshield. Now the video is upside down. Anyone know this fix?

The only real "fix" is to turn the unit upside-right... the camera is designed to record with that orientation and the only other option is to use a video editing program to "turn the video right-side up" Hope this helps.

Received the product today. I got the cam at a very good deal for AED 219 which is pretty decent price. The reason for V1 basic is the value for money feel and can serve my minimal purpose that meets international quality. Overall the quality is very good with respect to the price. The warranty too can be extended to 18 months by hassle free steps.Likes:-Sturdy feel-Compact-Simple interface with all basic requirements-The 12V charger is the best part I liked 😁 ( I thought I might need to purchase a 12V socket splitter in order to connect my mobile charger simultaneously with dash cam charger. But surprisingly this charger itself holds a USB port which act as a charging port as well. I’m very much happy about it as I don’t want that area of the car to look messy)- Rest all features and video quality are as mentioned in the product description and is of pretty good quality.-Value for money if looking for a dash cam that captures pretty decent videos and serves the purpose.Dislikes:-The main one is the ‘click click’ sound while using the buttons.
